When Hoseok first lays eyes on Yoongi again, he lets out a choked sob. Yoongi says his name in question. Hoseok runs into his arms, but starts to hit him as he asks why he never called.

Yoongi says he didn't think Hoseok would want him, or would've waited for him. But Hoseok says he never blamed him, and only wanted him back. They kiss, and that's the restart of their relationship.

Jihyun, Jimin's younger brother, is invited to the dinner as well. He corners his hyung, and asks Jimin when him and Jungkook are gonna have kids (two months into their relationship Jihyun, really?). Jimin chokes on cake, and Jungkook says that they'll have to settle into the new house first. They need to know that they can live together. Jimin smacks him in the chest.

(,,˃̵ ᴗ ˂̵,,)

Jimin thinks back to last Christmas; after 1 year together. He remembers opening his last gift. It only contains a card.

''My god, Jungkook. Is this for real?''

''Yeah, I just- I thought that it was better to stand in line early. It's a long process, and I thought that once we feel ready we'll want it right away. If we change our minds or aren't ready when it's time, we can change our minds though.''

''We're in line for adoption... I can't believe it.''

Back to ''now'', and it's their first Christmas with their adopted daughter. They love her beyond words.

Two years later they are pregnant and waiting for their baby to arrive to the world. Their own baby, though not in any of their stomachs.

Surrogacy for any couple, of any gender, in now possible. The baby will have both of their DNA.

(.◜ω◝.)

Their baby girl is now 4 years old, and their second baby is on the way. She's their whole world.

Jimin fetches her after his lectures, that he only has in the morning and afternoon (until 3). Jungkook manages that as well, and they spend their days in the park together.

Their second baby is a girl as well. She has a happy childhood, and grew up loved dearly just as her older sister.

When she's grown up, she meets a man and falls in love. They have a child, a little Taehyung.

None of them had expected him to be a mythomaniac like his grandfather. He gets into a lot of trouble.

Eventually, Taehyung will have grown older. He needs to see a psychiatrist as well. It's time.

"I hope you can find someone that makes you want to stop lying as well, Taehyung," Jimin tells him when his grandson is stubborn.

Taehyung sits in the therapist's office, spacing out. He is asked the question again, and he answers. Therapist says they'll have their last meeting next week, and then he's free.

Tae is currently 19, and it's autumn. His birthday is coming up, but he's walking to their graves. His grandparents have a shared grave, by the prettiest of flowerbeds.

He lost them both the same year, but a few months apart. Jungkook had just started to be able to live without Jimin when he passed away as well.

Taehyung had gotten Jimin's old watering can. It held no value, but Taehyung had always liked it.

Taehyung is all grown up, and in his 50s. He has a wife and kids. They met at a photo course on Jeju Island.

He comes down from the attic with old vinyls he has found from Jimin and Jungkook. He has finally bought a vinyl player, and his wife stands in the doorway suddenly as he plays old songs.

She asks about the vinyls, and he says he just wanted to listen to the ones his grandfather left him. She says that the song playing is nice, and he says that she should hear this great song.

When he plays Life Could Be Dream, she shakes her head and repeats what Jungkook told Jimin.

"You're strange, Kim Taehyung."

He smiles sadly, and repeats what Jimin said.

"But you still love me."

Though Jimin never said "love me", that's what he imagined himself saying.

Part of a letter Jimin sends his grandson when he leaves for a year to England, with Jungkook. He sends Taehyung letters every week.

When you visited me that day, just to tell me all about the new girl in your theatre class, I knew I wanted to tell you this soon.

You always listened to me, sometimes even tried not to lie to me. You knew I saw right through it, but you still tried. You must have realised that my words held some truth.

See, some lies are harmless, while some are dangerous.

Some lies can end with a stolen object, like a house. Others can steal much more important, though invisible things, like trust.

Some lies may only hurt you, and others may harm those you love.

You might not feel regret when someone catches your lies, but when you finally loose the trust of those you love, you will want to stop.
