Anastasia's nerdy brother Percy and his friend Calvin, the most popular guy in school, threw parties whenever possible. This weekend, Anastasia's dad and stepmom were out of town, along with their little love child. That means that Percy and Calvin threw a party.

I rarely went to Anastasia's dad's house, mostly because his wife was sort of a conservative Christian woman, and I was openly gay. It wasn't two types of people who crossed paths very positively. When I did go to her dad's house, it was because of a party.

I didn't care much for Calvin or Percy. Calvin was a bit full of himself, being captain of the soccer team and all. Percy, kid genius, was a bit arrogant too. I was arrogant, but in a good, not flashy way. They were totally flashy. Not acceptable.

Ana, Emmett, and I all showed up together. Percy asked Ana to come hold down the fort with him, because Calvin was an avid partier/stoner/alcoholic. Ana, being the nice girl she was, totally agreed to help and invited Emmett and I along with her. I told my dad I was staying at Ana's house, so I could stay all night with her at her dads.

As soon as we got there, I saw her.

Danika.

"Hey, I'm gonna go scope out the scene," I said to Ana. She just nodded, so I went on my way.

Danika has deep chocolate skin, with beautiful brown eyes. Her build was petite, with a little curve. She was beautiful, in the way a photo couldn't capture it. Tonight she had on a small headband and some deep purple lipstick. She wore a tight fitting white dress, with heels to match her lipstick.

"Look who it is," I said cheerfully. "The one and only, Danika Gregory." I wrapped her up in a greeting hug, just to test the waters.

A girl didn't have to be gay to be interested in me.

"Well hello, Clarissa, so nice to see you here at this lovely event." Danika laughed, and looked at me for a moment. She was a few inches shorter than me, but the heels added so much height she was a few millimeter taller than I was tonight.

"How've you been?" I asked. Danika and I had a class together last year, when she was just a freshman. I thought she was pretty then, but not in the way I do now. We were friendly back then, too. She always asked me for help on her class work, even though it was an art class.

I think she had a crush on me? No one had said anything about her being gay, though. It wasn't even rumored. Everyone just put her boyfriendlessness off to her being one of the few black people in a predominantly white community, as if her skin color made her any less valuable than the white girls here.

Danika leaned into me, still smiling. "I've been good. How about you?" Her breath smelled of alcohol, but she was fully there. She wasn't stumbling or slurring her words.

"I would probably be better if I had seen you more often," I joked. Danika raised her eyebrows inquisitively, and I laughed. Danika began to laugh, too.

"Same here, Clarissa. I've missed you," Danika reached behind me and put her arm around my waist. I looked up at her and smiled. She smiled back, a sly, sneaky one that stretched across her face. She leaned down and put her lips to my ear, "let's get out of here,"

She grabbed my hand and led me down the hallway to a room I associated with Percy. It was his office, sort of. It didn't have a bed, just a couch and a desk and some computer stuff.

Danika was soon kissing me; she threw me down on the couch, her lips against mine. Everything was going fast and hot-- I was getting worried.

"You're totally okay with whatever happens," I whispered into her neck. She had the top two buttons of my shirt undone, and her dress was down around her waist.

"Clarissa," she began breathily. "This is all I've wanted for a very long time,"

So it happened, classic lesbian style.

We fell asleep soon after we both finished, and slept in that room, together, that night.

The next morning, around seven, I heard Anastasia calling for me. I rushed out of the room, worried. She seemed frazzled and scared.

"We need to get to my house," Ana said. I nodded, still half asleep. I went back into the room to get my clothes, and saw that Danika was gone.

She had left before I woke up.
