Niall's Perspective

I sat in the waiting room, just outside the corridor Morgan's room was in. I was trying my best not to cry, but I couldn't help but let many tears fall from my eyes. I noticed all of the other boys crying too, or at least trying not to cry. Their faces were red like my own, and they held a tissue in their hands. It's sad to think that the girl I'm in love with and brought happiness to all of our lives, is dead.

"Um, Mr Horan?" A nurse says, entering the small waiting room that held only us five boys. Her eyes glazed over with tears, as if she were sad about the news that waited for me. Sadness flashed across her face as her facial expressions soften. I clear my throat, wiping my tears away with my hand to restrict myself from looking weak or pathetic.

"Yes?" I ask, my voice all stuffy and low. That's what happens when you cry a river over a girl, your nose and throat get stuffy and it's hard to breathe.

"I'm sorry to inform you that Morgan has unfortunately passed away," the nurse whispers, clutching her clipboard in her hands. Hearing the words broke me even more, causing my knees to buckle from underneath me. I fell to the floor, tears now escaping my eyes. I knew this was coming, but I had some type of hope in me that she'd fight, for me. Unfortunately, she's gone. I began to sob.

"Niall? Niall. Get up, come on!"

My eyes pop open, wondering what was happening. I see the familiar, beautiful girl I had come to know well hovering over me, an irritated look crossed over her expressions. I gasp, realizing it was all a dream, and Morgan was very well alive and healthy. I let a smile form on my lips as I wrap my arms around Morgan's shoulders, causing her to collapse onto the bed.

"Um, Niall?" She says, struggling to break free from my tight grip. I wouldn't let her go, I couldn't. It'd be my fault if anything were to happen to her, therefore I must never let her go.

I take a deep breath, sniffling the tiniest bit as I stare at the girl, "Yes?"

"What's wrong?" she questions, her thumb reaching up to wipe a tear from my cheek. I shakily smile at her, "It seemed so real, Morgan. So real."

"What seemed so real?"

"The dream I had." My eyes study her face. I notice her glimmering brown eyes, her small nose with light freckles scattered across her, and her smooth skin with only a few pimples. She was perfect. "Can you please, please promise never to leave me?"

She looked sad for a moment, but she hid her emotions with a small, forced smile. "As much as I like your humour, and our share of love for food, I'm going to have to leave when you free me from captivity in three months."

"No, Morgan. Please, don't. Don't leave me," I whisper, images of her lifeless, blood stained body in my arms from my dream flashing across my mind. "Please."

Her eyes fell onto my lips, but quickly advert back up to my blue eyes.

"Okay Niall, I won't."
