Chapter 8

        Matt's POV:

        "I like you Layla." I say.

        Oh my god did i really just say that! I think i did. i just look at the floor I'm really embarrassed.

        "Oh..um..ok." Says Layla.

        "Wow." Says Nash.

        I look back at them and i have tears in my eyes. I see Layla and she is red and looking at me. I look at Nash and he has a blank expression. Then i look at Cameron..he looks mad. But at the same time not. I get up and run to my room and close the door.

        Cameron's POV:

        I am shocked. Matt just told everyone he liked Layla. I didn't know he really did. I am a little mad because i thought Layla would say "i like you too" thank god she didint. I really like her.

        "I feel so bad." Layla says crying.

        "For what?" I ask rubbing her back.

        "I don't feel the same way." She almost whispers.

        Then she starts to cry a little harder. I put my arm around her and she put her head into my chest.

        "Layla..you don't have to be upset. Its just that you don't feel the same way." Says Nash patting her head.

        "I know but i hate to hurt him." She says wiping her eyes.

        I do feel bad for Matt. If that was me and she didn't like me back..i would be a mess. I do like Layla and i hope she likes me.

        "I think i should talk to him." Layla says.

        "Okay." Nash says

        "If you need Nash or I just come get us." I say.

        She smiles at me and stands up.

        "Thanks Cameron." She says.

        Then she walks up stairs.

        Layla's POV:

        I make my way up the stairs and go to his room. I stop at his door before i knock. What should i say? I just look at his door and think. Finally i knock......

        "Go Away!" Yells Matt sniffing.

        "Its me Layla." I say.

        I hear sniffing and then i hear footsteps. Matt unlocks his door and opens it. I look at him and see his eyes are red and puffy. Its all because of me!

        "Hey..um can i come in?" I ask.

        Matt nods and moves out of the way so i can step in. I walk in and sit on his bed. He sits next to me.

        "So i just want to say I'm sorry." I say.

        "For what?" He ask's.

        "I'm sorry that i just want to be really good best friends." I say while my eyes burn from wanting to cry.

        "Oh..." He says.

        "Ya." I say feeling a tear drop.

        He looks up at me and then just stares.

        "Why are you crying?" He ask's.

        "Because..i feel bad." I say.

        "Don't...i will get over it." He says.

        I just look at him and give him a sad smile. I get up and so does he.

        "Well I'm gonna go." I say.

        "Okay." He says looking down.

        "Don't worry we are besties." I say then i kiss his cheek.

        "Bye." I say.

        I grab the door knob. Then i feel someone grab my wrist.

        "Wait one more thing." Matt says.

        I turn around and Matts lips our on mine. He starts to rub my back. I pull away quickly and walk out. Oh..my..god! Matt just kissed me! I walk down stairs shocked. I felt nothing that kiss i still like Cameron for sure. Wait..did i say i liked him? I did... i guess i have to admit it to myself. Cameron and Nash look at me.

        "What happened?" Ask's Cam.

        "Ya what happened?" Ask's Nash.

        I look at them still stunned. I just stare at them.

        "Layla what happened?!" Cam ask's again.

        I just look at them.

        "LAYLA!" They both yell at me.

        "Matt...kissed..me." I say.

        They both just look at me. I look at Nash and he is looking at Cam. Cameron looks so mad! Wait he's mad...is he jealous? Wait that would me he likes me? No, he doesn't like me..who would.

        "Did you kiss back." Nash ask's.

        I look at Cam and he is staring at the floor still looking mad.

        "No." I say.

        Cam looks up and their is relief in his eyes. I try hard to keep from laughing.

        "I kissed his cheek and he grabbed my wrist and i turned around..and his lips were there." I say sadly.

        "Wow.." Says Nash.

        "Ya." I say.

        I look back to Cameron and he looks more relaxed. I really wonder if he likes me. Does he? I really hope so because.. I really like him.
