A pair of pale feet wearing red slippers jumped down onto the crumbly ground.

A small, 15 year old boy looked up at the huge building before him.

The building looked 2 maybe 3 storeys tall, but it was amazing how spread out it was. The main building was probably around 500m wide, as well as 300m long, with a few smaller buildings surrounding it. The entrance was right in the middle, with words in gold printed above the doors saying "CCG 2nd Academy".

In front of the Academy, there was a large area of trees, flowers, grass, and patio, just like any normal school, where children hang around until lessons start and they're called in.

The small boy from the start of this chapter skipped happily towards the entrance. His white, beautiful hair flew behind him in the wind, with four red hairpins in the formation of the roman numerals 'XIII' which were on his forehead, keeping his bangs up. He had an oversized white shirt which he messily tried to tuck into his trousers, the trousers themselves being black and baggy, held up with red suspenders that had yellow polka dots going over his shoulder.

He was the only person there with such a peculiar outfit, and no matter where he went, people always stared at him, and kept their distance.

"Hey look over there," said a girl to the rest of her group, pointing subtly as he skipped by, "That's the problem child my mum told me to stay away from!"

The other girls joined in with the exclusion of the boy, as they gave him dirty snares and talked about him rudely behind his back.

"Hey look, it's that kid again!" said a short boy to his friends.

"You don't mean that kid do you?"

"Yea! The overly aggressive one with no friends or any brainpower! I heard that last week, he broke Mr Aizawa's desk because he told him off for not working in class!"

A few of the teenagers there gasped. Mr Aizawa was an extremely scary teacher, nobody else could even look him in the eye without flinching.

The boy kept skipping onwards happily, smiling at the clouds in the sky.

Eventually, he was forced to stop, as 5 or 6 taller individuals stood in front of him and blocked his way. The one in front starting laughing.

"Haha, look guys, all these creepy string in his arm!! What happened? Cut yourself while making toast? Guess you went running all the way to the hospital you wuss!" The black haired boy started laughing, and the whole group joined in.

"Oh wait I have an even better question... WHAT ARE THOSEEEE!!" He jumped into a slightly crouched pose and pointed at his red slippers.

The boy just smiled back. "They're my slippers!! Shinohara got it for me the other day! You can try them if you want, they're surprisingly comf-"

The black haired boy slapped him. The boy fell to the floor and half the people who saw it burst into laughter.

He sat on the floor and frowned.

"What did I do wrong??" The young boy yelled. "What did I even do?? I was just telling you what my slippers were because you asked!!"

The boy stepped forward and grabbed him by the collar.

"I thought you were doing that to piss me off but apparently you're just as stupid as I thought." The boy gave him a death stare. "It was a (dead) meme! Don't you know what that is?? Don't try to get all the attention for yourself, you're nothing special, you shouldn't even be allowed here, these teachers always see something from absolutely nothing, you're just a worthless littl-"
