~Alesa's POV ~

"So to survive high school, you need to follow these survival skills," Trina said pointing her fork in my direction.

It was lunch time, and to my luck Trina had the same lunch period as me. Reese had Macyn in his. Poor Reese.

I scrunched my eyebrows together. "I already know how to survive high school." I told her. She laughed then said,"No you don't. You think you know how to survive high school, but you don't know how to survive. So listen to me sophtie, and you might survive the year."

She chewed some of her pasta then began telling me tips of how to survive.

"First of all, never ever trust Keith or Josie. They may seem all buddy buddy at first but the instant they get some secret info on you, well you are basically dead meat to the whole school. Second, trust your allies, they are good for info on anything.."

"Wait, how do you know all these things? Did all this happen to you?" I questioned.

She ignored me and stuffed some more pasta into her mouth, then took a swig of milk. "Never mind that, do you know a Mason? Reese said that someone was annoying him to no end in P.E. today."

Laughing, I nodded. There was only one Macyn and she won't leave people alone. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. "Yeah," I said, calming my laughter, "I know a Macyn. Actually there is only one Macyn here and that's my friend. Tell me how is he annoying him?" I prodded.

"Well in his words is that she won't shut the hell up. Saw him with no partner during soccer and paired with him. Then she began talking and won't stop. But compared to other people he talks about this is the least mild. I think he grew a soft spot for her." The bell rang then, signalling that lunch was over. "Bye Trina, I will see you tomorrow." I told her then went of to math, the one class I had with Macyn and the last class of the day.

~After School~

"Hey Alesa! You coming over after school? Mom is wondering?" Macyn yelled over the loud students in the hallway. "Nah, I already got Biology homework. And I know you do to so get it done. I don't have lunch with you this year." I told her laughing.

She pouted and slung her backpack over her shoulder. "You only live ten blocks away...." she muttered. "I'm still not going to help you Macyn. Sorry not sorry. How are you going to pass finals at the end of the year?"

"Easy! Just wing it like the last couple years!" she yelled.

"Miss Hulles! What did I tell you about screaming in the hallways?!" Miss Hanagan screams at her. "That I will spend it in the principles office?!" she yelled back, snickering. Miss Hanagan came storming down the hallway, her face red with anger.

"Miss Hulles!!!" she yelled pointing her finger at Macyn. "Shiznez! Run dood!" Macyn yelled, grabbing my arm and running to her car, Miss Hanagan not to far behind.

She slid into the drivers seat and hurriedly turned the car on. "Hurry Alesa! Get in!"

I quickly slid into the passenger seat, closing the door as Macyn backed out and drove away from the school.

"That was fun!" she said laughing. "Macyn, I hope that you do know that tomorrow morning she will be waiting for you at the front doors with Mrs. Andrews?" I said laughing as well.

"Absolutely!" I laughed at her again and turned up the radio, listening to Approaching Nirvana. "How can you stand this?" I asked pulling out my phone. She pulled a quick glare at me then turned her attention back to the road.

"Easily my dear friend! This is actually a good song!" she replied turning it up. I turned it down then she cranked it back up. This continued on for a little bit till she pulled into my driveway.

In a terrible british accent, she said "My unfair lady."

I shoved her arm as she laughed. "Bye Macyn, tell your mom hi for me!"

"I will! Bye!!!!" she said as she backed out of the driveway and headed down the street, Approaching Nirvana blaring out of her car. "Crazy person." I laughed shaking my head.

I unlocked the front door and dumped my bag on the couch. "Ma! I'm home!" I yelled climbing the stairs.

"How was the first day of school?" mom said walking out of her room. "Good, Macyn beat her record from last year." I said sitting in my blue spinney chair.

"And what record is that?"

"Making the same teacher mad at her twice over one thing ma, it's a new record" Ma laughed and shook her head.

"She doesn't give up does she?"

"Nope" She laughed again and then said "You want pizza for dinner or Chinese?"

"Pizza please.... I don't like Chinese" I replied texting Macyn. Mom nodded and walked out of my room into her room.

I texted Macyn reminding her to do her homework and that we have to record happy wheels later (yes, I just did that. MEH this isn't fan fiction though its quite the opposite!) and that mom laughed at her.
