Chapter Two

      "Well, here's your tent!" David stated, extending his hand out to a weathered down tent. (Y/N) set her bags down beside the tent. She looked up at David with a half fake smile.

     "Thanks, David." She said.

     "No problem!" He said and did a strange salute with a smile.

     "The kids and I better get to the mess hall! Join us when you're ready. No need to rush, though! Just get settled in and we'll see you there!" David said and motioned for Max, Nikki, and Neil to join him. They started to walk off as a group. Max turned around.

     "Yeah, join us three when you're ready, don't like us, you can explore the other fuckers." He laughed and smirked at me. David looked back at him with hands on his hips.

     "Now Max, language, please!" Max shook his head and continued to walk off with the group.

     (Y/N) smiled and rolled her eyes. She crawled into the tent, pushing her bags inside with her. She looked down to see a sleeping bag already set up inside.

     "Hm?" She rolled her eyes and groaned. "I carried a sleeping bag here just for them to already have one?" She pulled her sleeping bag out of her bag and stood up laying it on top of the other one.

     "At least I'll know this one is clean." She whispered to herself. She began to unpack everything and try to plan an outfit for tomorrow. Smiling at what she chose, she put the clothes in the bag together. She zipped the bag, sighed, and headed to the mess hall.

     She looked at the long building and half smiled. "Well, guess this is it." She said to herself, opening the door. A few heads turned as she looked around inside the building. Once she laid eyes on Max sitting at a table, Neil and Nikki on the other side of the table, she smiled and began to walk that way.

     "Well, take a seat," Max smirked as (Y/N) sat down next to him. "Since Max said we were playing the quiet game, I didn't get you to tell you who I was! Even though you know my name because Max said it, I didn't say it so you don't know me by me by me saying my name!" Nikki said, smiling with every word. Neil looked at her in confusion as Max slightly laughed. "Okay then." (Y/N) said. "Yup! I'm Nikki." Max shook his head. "Hell yea. Can't see anyone else in your place."

     Neil sighed. "Nikki, next time you decide to ramble, can you at least talk like an average human being?" He shook his head. "Goddamn." He whispered. Max nudged (Y/N)'s arm. "Willing to join our shitty excuse of a friend group?" She looked down at the table. "Considering the fact I hate socializing, why the hell not?" Max looked down at the table, too. "Great," Max whispered just loud enough for (Y/N) in here.

     "Y'know, these two are great, but I'm not sure what to think of you yet. All I can say is that your protected and trusted in my book." Max whispered in (Y/N)'s direction.

     "I guess I could say the same." She whispered back. "Great."

"Great."

Claire mentally said "rEEEEEE" three times while writing this chapter. 

Kat is wondering if Claire is okay because she also wrote three other chapters and Kat never noticed. :^)
