Chapter 7

"Estellar!" I cried as she jumped in front of me as Loy slashed the blade of the knife. I carried the hurt wolf while Loy looked blankly at the wall, swaying back and forth whispering to herself insanely.
"Professor... Kai!" I said weakly since my stomach still hurts after being beaten up.
"What happened here girls? Loy Shu! Estellar!" Professor Kai said speechless and quickly took out his phone. Estellar's wolf body bleed badly that I was covered in her's and my own blood. I got a cloth and pressed it against the injury so it would slow down the bleeding.
My mind wondered, Why am I even doing this? Why did she sacrifice herself? But literally the most thing that ran in my mind was, Is she gonna die? Please don't die... Why did you do that? You know I don't deserve your loyalty!
Kristena was still in her wolf form and she kept still with her eyes wide. She shook her head and said to Loy, "Loy let's go. We'll go to jail or something. Snap off it, Loy!"
Loy just kept repeating, "What have I done... Noo... I didn't do it.... no... I..." To me she was going insane. I ran with Estellar to the medics and collapsed in pain. One of the medics got ahold of Estellar then put something on her that forced her to change back. Then they put her on oxygen and took her to the ambulance. I went with her, since I was also awfully bleeding from cut and covered in bruises. My jaw ached in pain.
"We'll treat your friend well. She's luck she has you." Said the medic. I looked away with a nod. Another medic have me an ice pack and started treating my cuts. It hurt painfully but was worth. I was more concerned for Estellar than myself, she didn't deserve it. I did.

Weee oooh! Weee oooh!
(It's a busy day at the hospital)

We got to the hospital and they took Estellar out of the ambulance before I was able to blink.
"What about me?" I asked. Then thought, that's the most stupid question you've asked. Who CARES about you? NO. ONE. Your a pathetic brat.

"We'll help you in a minute. Your friend needs urgent help. She's bleeding badly. Wait here don't go anywhere." Said a medic as the group rushed out with Estellar. I stayed there, watching.
My mind was usually all dark and bitter. Then...

Why am I suddenly acting differently lately? My behavior changed?

I decided to take out my small notebook. NO ONE it's allowed to see it so I won't be telling you what I write. Please do not sue me.

"Ok you turn." Said a voice. I jumped and flinched, startled. The medic seemed not try to stare or glare at me. He was thinking I was emo. He was thinking, wondering how my life is. He was thinking that I was terrifying.

I just nodded looking away.

An hour later
(You have traveled through time)

"Are you fine? So what happened?" Said a detective that had come to my room. I was sweating. I don't like being questioned.
"It happened fast. I was getting bullied and Estellar helped me and then they tried to stab me but Estellar jumped in the way." I explained but my voice was cracking.
"Bullies?" Said the detective, "Were those the two other girls? Or hybrids?"
"Um yes. They have been my long term bullies." I said looking down.
"Okay. Can you explain why your friend had a collar on?" Asked the detective. I froze. I totally have forgotten about that. It made me have this unsettling, guilty feeling that made me want to puke.
"Well..." I started coldly, "She said when she was little she played dog with her used to be friend, before she knew she could change, well, morph."
"Is that so? Is that why it's tight on her neck, but not enough to stop her from breathing?" Said the detective.
"I guess so?" I said. I think that remark made the detective suspicious.
"Then why didn't her parents stop that before?" The detective asked. I wanted to groan.
What am I? Siri or something?! I thought bitterly. But said, "she said her parents don't know."
That's when MY parents bursted from the doors and came to cover me in hugs and kisses.
"Are you alright Azm?" Said my mom relieved but crying.
"Yes I'm fine mom. The one who isn't is my friend." I groaned. I didn't like this. At. All. I HATED it. I also had difficulty saying "friend".
"Friend?" My mom said as if a miracle just happened, "I hear holy sounds!" I couldn't hear them.
"I can't." I said coldly. My dad's mood got ruined.
"Yeah. I think she's absolutely healing." Said the detective, "Detective Dave to assist you." My dad shook hands with Detective Dave, Dave started explaining what happened. My mom looked wounded.
"Can I see her?" I asked Detective Dave. Dave looked at me startled.
"I'll go ask." He said then left.
"Azm, why didn't you tell us you had bullies?" Dad said. I looked down speechless, or wanting to be.
"Because..." I said quietly.
"Oh Azm..." Mom said then exchanged faces with father, then said, "I still love you anyway."
I hate it when you act like you love me and I clearly see the disappointment in your faces...
At least, I seem to find someone who shows that but I know I- I don't deserve it. But I find myself caring...

I looked blankly with insanity at the wall covered in hospital gadgets.

"You can go." Said Detective Dave, interrupting my moment. I flinched and got up. My parents got up from behind.
"I want alone." I said turning my head a little their way but my hair covered my eye.
"Okay..." Dad said.

As I exited the door, I kept staring at the gadgets....
