Play continues

"You have to be more acting. You sound like your dying," I said to Michael.
"I am. I hate it." Michael grouched.
"Try to sound more angry, cheerful, and serious," I said. Michael groaned and then nodded in defeat.
The curtains went up.

"Michael's house." Said the Narrator.
Michael had to act like he grabbed me by my clothes and threw me to one of the cushion chairs. I played along, my ears jerked back and snarled.
"What's wrong with you! I steal for a living!" I said imitating anger. Michael looked at me.
"Why are you stealing?" He asked coldly. I looked away and took out the package, which was fake. I ripped it open, then grinned at it, not that it was really special or anything, but I had to act like it was.
"This'll totally help me feed em' for two months," I said to myself, not really. Micheal seized my hand.
"Answer!" Michael yelled.
"I wonder how their doing. I wonder if their starving cause I'm not there. I'll save them once more," I said more focused on the object.
"Listen to me Evelyn. You are a fool. You shouldn't steal! The honesty of this man is more powerful than the claws of a lion. Listen to me," Michael shouted.
"Yibble! Yibble! You don't know why I steal!" I said angrily, "I don't steal for the fun! I don't steal for sins! I don't steal to gain power! I don't steal to steal! I steal to help my orphan family!" Michael stayed quiet.
"Stealing isn't right," Michael said sternly, "But fine. I won't report you. Unless."
I looked at him coldly, "Unless what?"
"Unless you steal once more. I will report it was you." Michael said.
"Oh come on!" I grumbled, "I steal to help!"
"Help them another way," Michael said.
"Easy for you to stay because your rich and spoiled!" I shouted. Then pretend to get an idea, "How about if you join me for my next mission? You'll probably understand then."
"Michael isn't sure about this decision." The Narrator said, "He knows stealing will put him in jail. He was a nice, innocent guy. But the town hated him. Also Evelyn was his old friend. This version of her is surprising for him."

"Ok great. See you in a week!" I said leaving.
"WHAT I didn't agree to this!" Michael said.
I came back with a smirk, "Too bad."
Michael scratched his head and said to the audience, "How did I get to this mess?" The audience laughed. I looked around and finally spotted the blue hair of my mother. I waved at her. She stand up and smiled with a thumbs up.
The curtains closed again.
"Officer Dun, securities, Museum carer, Neighbor Ladies. Your up!" Fred yelled as he went to help set up the museum stage setting. I looked at Michael.
"That was an improvement." I smudged. Michael didn't say anything.

"Museum. A week later." Said the narrator.
"Oh what happened here?" Said neighbor lady 2. Officer Dun ran to them. And bowed to greet them.
"Hello neighbor ladies, We are trying to figure out what the stolen package was about?" Officer Dun said to them.
The old Museum carer came running to them, "I think the package was about the Egyptian scrolls."
"Egyptian scrolls?" The neighbor ladies echoed.
"Yes. They are delicate and are worth a lot." Said the Museum carer, "That was the only package I wasn't able to find."
"Very well." Officer Dun said with a sigh, "We haven't able to track down the girl. She was not heard of in the last week and there is no evidence that proves it was the girl."
"Who's this, girl?" Asked neighbor lady 2.
Officer Dun scratched his head, "We found out it was Evelyn Scarcat. Has no family, cause the Scarcats died. An orphan. Adventurous and kind. Went to that one fancy school before her parents died."
"Well that's quite sad. It makes sense she went on a crime life. She's sad." Said neighbor lady 1.
"I suppose. If that's the case we shall have to take her." Officer Dun said then looked at the securities, "For the meanwhile I need you all to carefully watch every single camera, hall, pick-up trucks. This Evelyn may come back here for more. I feel like she would."
"Wait hold up Officer, when and where was the last time a crime made by this insane girl?" Neighbor lady 2 asked.
Officer Dun chuckled, "Strangely in the corner store across the street made a week ago." Then he stopped and realized something, "The other crime seen was a street away! Ha ha! She's going in a pattern! Thanks miss."
"No problem." The neighbor lady replied.
"Oh I'll get you this time Evelyn." Officer Dun said, "We'll be their earlier."
The curtains drop once more.
"Evelyn! Michael! Your up!" Fred said, "This is exciting. We are almost reaching the last scene!"

The curtains rose.
"Michael! Wake up you lazy slug!" I shouted. Michael groaned.
"What?" Michael said.
"It's go time." I said, "You've been sleeping on me for the last 50 minutes!"
Michael yawned, "It's not like I totally don't be awake at this hour. I would rather be at home, in my comfy bed, SLEEPING!"
"SHH!" I said, "today we're going to steal the great diamond from the jewelry store that everyone talks about." Michael frowned.
"Are you nuts!" He shouted.
"Aye, shh will ya." I said in a loud whisper.
"How are we doing this?" Michael complained.
"I have my ways." I said enthusiastically, "Now shut up and follow me."
Michael groaned, "Oh, well. Evelyn, I don't know why I feel that this will go wrong".
"Well, Michael. I see it going SUCCESSFUL!" I said with great enthusiasm and annoyed.
"Ugh, fine Evelyn, but I repeat that you are nuts!" Michael said.
"I'm not nuts! I'm being a hero for the orphans with a very grumpy sidekick."
Michael looked offended, "Ugh, fine Evelyn, but hurry up cause I think Castro will not love what we're doing." Michael yawned once more, "And I'm not your sidekick."

"Of course, Michael" I said, "Castro would not be watching her jewelry store tonight. I overheard that she had to go meet up with someone."
"Let's get over with your stupid idea." Michael said walking towards the entrance of the jewelry store, sluggish.
"Thank you jerk," I said.
