(Megan's POV)
y-yeah. I was scared to tell you too. it went silent for 3 minutes. then I broke it. so what does this mean I said? I don't know what do you think. I didn't know what to say.
I still wanted the feeling of him asking me out. but I don't think to was going to happen. we talked for a little bit and then he finally said it. Um hey meg,? I turned back around to see Hayes staring at me.
yeah Hayes? I said. Do you want to take a walk to the park? in the pouring rain I said? yeah just us you can borrow one of my hoodies? I looked at him and said now that would take away the fun from getting wet I said haha.
he laughed and I said let's go. we were walking out of the house and the park was a 10 minute walk away. Hayes wrote Elizabeth a note so she wouldn't be worried.
(Hayes POV)
once we got to the side walk we were drenched. we were having fun so far we were just in the middle of the street dancing in the rain jumping in puddles, and skipping.
then all of a sudden we stopped and I wraped her in my arms and we started slow dancing in the middle of the street. I really like her I said to myself. we stared into each others eyes.
I leaned in to kiss her I couldn't stop staring at her lips I wanted to kiss her so bad. so I did.
