Are we more than this?

Chapter 25

JESSIES POV

I walk into my room with my suitcase to see three beds. The room is fairly large for a dormitory as well as the closet and dresser space.

I look around and notice a suit so I assume that one of my room mates is already here and probably just exploring the campus.

I decide that I should start unpacking so I unzip my suitcases. I put away all of my clothes in one of the dressers. I unzip the little carry on I have which has all my toiletries and sheets in it.

Just as I am done making my bed the door opens and a girl who looks my age with brown wavy hair that's just past her shoulders and glasses. She walks in and immediately sees me.

"Hi there, I suppose we are room mates, my names Charlotte and yours?" she asks me.

"I'm Jessica and yes wether you like it or not, I'm your room mate, at least one of them." I reply with a bit of attitude.

"Okay, we'll I should probably start unpacking." She says to me.

I nod and the door opens again revealing another girl who looks the same age as me as well. She has long dirty blonde hair which is close to my hair colour, greenish blueish coloured eyes and looks to be about 5'6" or 5'7" tall.

"Um hi, I hope I'm in the right, my names Amanda. " She says quietly and nervously.

"Hi I'm Charlotte and this is Jessie" Charlotte says cheerfully while pointing at me.

"It's nice to meet you." Amanda replies.

"You can have that dresser and bed." I say motioning to the ones closest to mine.

"Thank you." She says while smiling at me.

After she's finished unpacking and making her bed she sits down and looks over at me. "So what are you two studying?" She asks me and Charlotte.

"I'm studying business." Charlotte says proudly.

"Cool, and what about you?" Amanda asks me expectantly.

"I'm studying law, Art and music."

"No way!" She shouts " I'm studying Law and Art as we'll."

"Really! that's awesome!" I say actually a bit excitedly.

"So if we are going to be room mates we should swap phone numbers." Amanda says to us.

We all quickly exchange phone numbers before deciding on taking a self tour around the school and campus.

As we are walking past the library I notice a person who I recognize.

"Jonathan?" I say unsure that it's actually him.

"Jessica? Oh hi, I didn't realize you are going to Yale." He says shocked.

"Yes, I didn't realize you are going here as we'll." I reply.

"Yeah. We'll I should get going." He says walking away.

"Who was that man?" Charlotte asks me.

"Oh just someone from my hometown.

"I see." She replies.

As we get back you room we decide to watch a movie and get to know each other better.

*a few hours later*

By the end of the night I've learned that Amanda and Charlotte are both quite nerdy. Amanda is more funny and Charlotte a bit more serious. Although they are both quite fun.
