Every Sunsets

   Orange, tangerine orange. The color that day's sky showed me. I came out a bit late with a time that said 4:40 pm on my wristwatch.

   The almost perfect spherical shape of the sun became visible that time as some of its rays were spreading while others were still hiding.

   I proceeded to a place where there would be only a few people in sight. A place where I could only hear the seagulls. A place though a bit secluded, still managed to offer me a picturesque view.

   I angled my camera, not forgetting to have the sun included. I did this but not before wiping off extra bits and grains of sand stuck in the lens due to the hard bump I recieved from you that I found myself on the ground the previous day.

   Then I felt your presence. I then heard that huskiness of your voice as you greeted me with a 'hello.' I couldn't believe that a tone could already be familiar even after just hearing it for once.

   You apologized for the commotion you caused the previous day. I apologized back for my insolence and rudeness when it came to accepting your help and walking away without a single 'thank you' muttered.

   I agreed when you decided that we start over again. You could only obtain the fact that I was a photography student and that I was fond of having nature as my subject.

   I never missed the glint in your eyes as I said these words. Your enthusiasm matched mine as you introduced yourself as an art student, an on-the-verge-of graduating one.

   As ridiculous as it sounded, I came to think that maybe we clicked through our in the arts. We had different approaches when it came to showing our creativity.

   I would hold a camera while you would prefer a paintbrush or an oil pastel. Nevertheless, we still expressed one thing in general and it would be art.
