"The rest of the world was black and white, but we were in screaming colors." - Taylor Swift, Style

Blue, a sapphire shade of blue. The sky shows me this color now that the time reads 6:00 p.m. The sequencing colors now gone along with the sun on the edge of the western horizon. I am now faced with a monochromatic sky that seems to reflect the vast sea in front of me.

The busy night life is evident on the streets lined with different food stands and the bonfire some people are setting up.

I inhaled the salty air that the sea offers.

Even though it has been four years already, this place still calms me and relieves the worries I gained due to the challenges I am currently facing in my life.

This place, no matter how serene yet at the same time busy, still haunts me with memories of you.

You and your dimpled smile. You and your lean body. You and your passion for art. You and your lips that engulfed me with indescribable warmth every moment we kissed.

We had the time of our lives. The day you told me I was your sunset ignited something inside me. It changed me.

The rest of the world remained contented in the dull colors while we screamed in full and variegated ones.

Through you, I also learned the could not get what we always wanted. The day you told me to end what we had ruined something inside me. It crashed my world.

Here I was, thinking that you would still desire me just like how the sky longed for the setting sun amidst the rising moon. But you did not even come back for me, not anymore.

It has been four years and up to this day, it haunts me that I still long for your own sunset.
