-------------------------------------The Hoodie Rebel won. I was honestly not expecting Juno to lose. She just stole the bone from a hungry, furious bitch.
I had heard about the emerging combatant,Hoodie Rebel, who is always dressed in a large gray hoodie which give no exposure to eyes and black denims. I could see all those flying rumors about her abilities and the threat she caused to Juno's Queen Fighter tag were actually true. It was evident she was trained by Theo Forrester.
I usually don't come to watch fights between female fighters but Leo forced me to come with him and his girlfriend.
I just wonder how long she would be able to hide her identity. Now that she had defeated the Queen bee of the Blue's swamp, they won't take a calm breath until they trace her down. Chances are,she would be in the same university as her other gang members ,Theo,Caleb and Emma, the California State University.
I was about to leave that stinky building when Troy shouted,"Frost! Wait up!"I turned around to see the Adams twins, one wearing a gray beanie, dashing towards me like he was in a marathon, which I'm pretty sure is Troy, the goofy one.The other one,was attired in a tight black t-shirt and stripped dark blue trousers, carrying his usual bored expression like he was carrying the whole world's load.Troy and Leo,my oldest friend, used to prank him a lot to refine his mood but it would take more than just pranks to remove that expression from his face.
Troy stopped just in front of me and looked at me with slight anger in his eyes."Are you allergic to goodbyes?" He stammered in between his words as his lungs lacked air."Just saying 'I'm going, see you tomorrow then' won't kill you!"He exclaimed. He always expressed extreme emotions. He wasn't a ladies man, but a total flirt. He desired to woo every girl on this planet. Ladies man reminds me of Leo, who is actually flirting with a girl who has chosen to wear the tightest dress in her wardrobe. Every time the girl giggled, Leo winked, and then she giggled more, which caused me to roll my eyes at them and return back to the Adams.
Troy had folded his arms over his chest, eyes narrowed at me. "I'll remember next time. Now can we please move?" I replied, making boredom crystal clear in my voice. "Fine. Where's Leo?" Troy questioned, and I gestured to the couple kissing a few meters away from us. "Let's just leave him and Mia alone," he replied sheepishly because barring Leo, all of us had the same relationship status, single. "That's not Mia," Trey spoke scrolling on his phone and for a moment, I had forgotten Trey was also standing right in front of me.
"TELL HIM TO STICK TO ONE WOMAN!" Troy was now raging with anger.
"He is like Zeus. Isn't satisfied by just one." I prompted. Trey took the lead, still scrolling but not colliding with a single person on the way out,and both of us followed. Leo would be mad at us undoubtedly for bailing on him but I would be able to manage that. No matter how hard I have tried since the past years to change his perspective, he just won't give a fuck about what I say. It's just like an automatic mechanism in Leo's brain. Whenever Frost speaks, shut you eardrums.
No matter how hard Trey tried, he had to drive Troy home. "I call shotgun!" Troy shouted.
"Like I was gonna let you drive." Trey spoke to himself.
"Come again?" Troy asked, confused.
"LIKE I" Trey spoke making his words clearly audible, "WAS GONNA LET YOU DRIVE!"
"OH THEN-"Troy imitated Trey's tone and kept his hands on his waist ,then thought for a moment. He then continued his drama act,"I CALL THE DRIVER'S SEAT!". As soon as he finished his line, he ran towards the other side of the car and immediately seated himself in the driver's seat.
"You can't do that! I wanna reach home safely!" Trey argued.
Troy pretended to be be deaf to Trey's words. He switched on the engine and did something which caused the car to move a meter and then stop in a jerk.
I wished luck to Trey, and then I took of from there towards my motorbike which was parked three blocks away.
It was a new moon night. Thanks to the streetlights, else I would have been blind. I could hear some footsteps approaching. I turned back in a swift motion to see no one. There was a T-point in front of me, from where I had to take a left.
I stopped in between my steps to see the the Hoodie Rebel surrounded by three Blues. I knew she was gonna get into trouble. Kendrick, one of the Blues waiting to beat the fuck out of her, cracked his knuckles and plastered a grin against his face.
The fight had started.
It favoured none of the parties, at least not in the beginning.
The girl was doing nothing but protecting herself from the punches, but as soon as she started throwing her own killer moves, she conquered the fucking throne of victory.I could have been the night in shining armour by jumping in the fight but it turns out my help wasn't needed, after all, she was a street fighter.
But one thing was clear, she needed to enhance her attacking abilities. It was a heavily breezed night. Without wasting another second, I ran away from that very spot. I jumped over a wall and entered a lawn, not caring if the owners of this house had a German shepherd or a bulldog or some any other guard dog which could bite off my leg.
I raised my head a little and peeked to check if she was still there. She was just walking across the street when the breeze made her hoodie fall off and now the light from the streetlight fell directly on her fair face.
Her eyes.
The feature which she kept hidden from this whole world, the feature which kept her identity a secret, was now distinctly visible to me.
She had beautiful jade eyes.------
Unlocking the door, I entered the most comfortable place in my world.
I thought about her again, thought about why she hid her face. I thought about her rich jade eyes. Somehow, that's all my brain could remember. I forgot her facial features.Holy fuck.
