JADE GRACE's POV

I can't survive this whole year at uni. By no chance. I have absolutely NO members of my gang here so that I don't blow my cover. I am getting bored of my playlist now and I don't even have a person to update it with new jazz songs.
I am having a stare competition with a french fry and my eyes are burning. This is the most innovative thing I could think of while sitting on a table alone.

This is rotting my eyes. I finally drop the innocent fresh fry and return back to boredom which I kind of blame Theo for.

"You can't go to the same university as us." He said.
"People will suspect you more."
He said.
"You will be unseen if you go to a different university than us." He said.
"Your name will be crossed from the suspect list of Hoodie Rebel." He said.
He kept a hand on my shoulder.
"That's for your own safety,J." He said and then wrapped his arms around me.
That hug. He did that just to throw my argument mood in the bin. For a few seconds, I did resist hugging him as there was still an urge to argue but in the twinkle of an eye I returned his gesture.

But still. Although he is my not-by-blood brother, I have the right to blame him. He is not at all shielded from my anger. Oh those chocolate eyes and handsome face may melt some hearts but mine, no way.

I was way too bored to not imagine a raging argument with him about this whole uni drama.
"It was only for your safety!" He yelled.
"I don't wanna be safe. I want to be with you. You, Em, Caleb." I said.
"Okay. Let me put it this way. I am an overprotective elder brother of a very young and sober sister." He paused for a while to think further about his stupid story, then said,"The sister, Jade, is very very obedient. She follows every piece of instruction laid by her elder bro." He paused again and sighed.
"And you know what the wise men say.'Obey and respect your elders'. So do what your elder bro says." He says pointing a finger at himself and mouths 'me'.

"Seriously? That's the most creative thing your brain could think of?" I sassed.
He dropped his elder-bro-obedient-sis act and gave me his puppy eyes pleading for mercy, which in this case was me going to that uni without holding any grudge against Theo.
I closed my eyes to avoid looking at Theo who was now on his knees with entwined hands. No, don't open them. Don't.

Suddenly, a loud 'hey' snapped me to reality, where I would never know my spontaneous reply to Theo when he was actually begging. Well, virtually begging.
I looked up from my now cold french fries to the person to whom that bubbly voice belonged to. She had beautiful, lightly curled, blonde hair. I was happy her face was not caked with makeup, unlike other girls I saw today who have 57 layers of lipstick on their lips. She had a little bit of blusher on, but I think she was wearing the bare minimum in the this building, excluding me because I was wearing none.
"Hi. I am Janesa. People find it difficult to pronounce my name." She rejoiced and then relaxed in her chair.
"Janesa." I gave a good attempt.
" That's perfect!" She rejoiced again.
"Now my first question. That mascara is fabulous. Tell me from where you got it, or I will loot it myself." This, then a death glare.
"Shouldn't you ask me my name first?" I inquired.
"No." She said without blinking her eyes. She could now stab me with her light brown eyes.
"I am not wearing any mascara." I spoke looking away.
"Really?" She dropped her terrifying face and questioned me.
"Now I would call that a pair of glamorous Jade eyes." She complimented and sipped her cold coffee.

I was already used to this compliment.
"You have beautiful Jade eyes, Jade." Said Theo.
"Can I just borrow them? I swear I will return them before I die." Said Emma.
"I love the colour of your eyes." Said somebody.
"They are so pretty." Said somebody.
"You have divine eyes," said my mother.

"So what is your name?" Janesa smiled.
"Jade."
"Full name."
"Jade Grace."
"With middle name."
"I have none. Just Jade Grace."
"That's impossible."
"It's possible."
"No it is-"
"That's it.My name is Jade Grace." I gave a typical glare  which gave her enough sense to shut up and change the topic.
"I'm Janesa Young Weatherfield. Yeah yeah, I am British but I don't have that cool accent 'coz my family shifted here from Greenwich when I was 4. I had barely used more than 30 words in England. Accent was miles away." She said with brand-new vigour in her voice.

I nodded in classic Jade style.
She nodded when she knew I was not going to extend this conversation.
She elongated the conversation but my soul was wandering far away from our cafeteria table. Maybe it has reached Mars. Her voice was just echoing in my mind.

When my soul safely landed back somewhere in my body, I realised that I had to make friends in this alien environment or I would be deserted. Janesa was still talking nonstop but she would be a good company, that's guaranteed. Wasting no more time, I opened my mouth to utter something when a tall boy hurriedly sat on a chair next to me. "Hey!" He greeted her.
"Hi!" She waved."I was waiting for you with Jade. Oh, this is Jade." I offered him a hand and he took it politely.
"I'm Adams. Troy Adams. You must have heard my name in at uni." He said cockily, copying James Bond. I remembered my no cheating law, but he seemed to be too cheerful to be accused.
"Well, its only been 3 periods and you think I would have heard your name ?" I raised an eyebrow at his impressive introduction.
"That is a long period of time." He said and took a bite of his burger. Janesa laughed a little.
"That's a lot of self esteem you have got in there." I joked.
"Don't mind. He's always joking around." She remarked.
Troy smiled with a moth full of fried chicken.
I was satisfied for the day. I had found some nice company. Taking slow steps.
--------------
Today's match was with a Blue.
She must have a base, stuffing and topping of anger. Anger, raging anger, fuming anger, flames of anger, anger, et cetera. That's a tasty pizza coming my way.
She shall be able to be beat me so hard with this amount of furiousness and then leave me rot to death.
Then my overprotective brother shall carry my coffin to my grave where only the 3 most precious people in my life shall come to mourn my death. Maybe Janesa Weatherfield would attend my funeral.

My imagination had wicked wings which loved flight since I was a kid.

With what I have been thinking about that girl practically murdering me, I should be terrified.

Meh, I'll pass.
Not to rant but I beat the leader, she should be the one who should crafting her funeral.

Making a note of this in my mind, I descend towards the battle field in my car in my usual wear for fights, an oversized grey hoodie coupled with black bottoms and combat boots.

Diana Blue, according to what I heard, is okay. Neither afraid like a mouse in front of a starving cat nor booming with over confidence. She at least put up a strong front. Fine, that's exactly my status right now.
But when I see her, she looks angry. And that anger is directed towards me.

Theo Forrester did his usual thing. Swept me to our rather quieter corner through the crowd of hopping hooligans, safeguarded my eyes with the hood, asked me if I'm alright, cheered me up with,"You got this."

On my way back through the overly-exited and hyper audience, I see that grey- eyed boy. He was staring right at me. I tilt my face to get a better look at him. He looks totally handsome in his attire, midnight blue t-shirt and black bottoms. But his face is pretty much void when he stares at me. I just stand and look at him whilst he looks at me. We maintain this position for what felt like hours. He looks at me, I look at him.

Then it struck me. What if he recognises me? Although my major identifier, my eyes, are not visible, I got other features too. I can't risk spilling my identity. Theo would kill me. Rumors might fly and people might criticize me. But I don't feel like looking away. He is piercing through my soul and I allow him.

Theo might KILL ME.

I jerk my head away from him, unsatisfactorily, in the blink of an eye and head towards my opponent.

Not exactly expected but definitely desired, Jade Grace won. I felt somewhat--totally victorious when I saw Diana's bloody face. There were surely some bruises coming up her way. Yeah bitch, 'coz of me!

Enough self talk.

I start to walk towards my car, assuring that no one was tracing my footsteps. On my way out of the room, I see him.
The boy with whom I as about to bang. The boy was still staring at me without blinking. Does he wanna kill me? Because I believe looks can kill.
And he didn't wanna look away.
