Zach and Rose started running towards the warehouse. When they got there, Zach realized something. He escaped when he was eighteen. So Zach and Rose couldn't save young Zach for twelve years and without the knife, they couldn't just go to that time. Zach and Rose ended up living twelve years of their lives in the past waiting for the day that Zach is let free. Eventually, the day came. Rose woke up at ten and Zach was already ready to go they left the apartment and Zach and Rose arrived at the warehouse at noon just 5 minutes before young Zach was let free. They went on through the back and they came across the ác quỷ beetle making some of those weird weapons that, to this day, Zach doesn't know what they do. The ác quỷ beetle saw them and grabbed the knife and pointed it at them. Zach calmly said,
"Let's be rational about this."
"Rational Really you want me to be rational. If he didn't want you alive you would be..." the ác quỷ beetle stopped mid-sentence.
"I can't say anymore or he will kill me. You have already heard too much. Goodbye."
The bug started a downward swing to send Zach and Rose back in time but he stopped midway. His eyes turned bright white he dropped the knife. After about five seconds the ác quỷ beetle came back to consciousness. Zach plainly asked
"Are you still trying to kill us?"
"No, but for some reason, I feel... Happy. It's like some wave of happiness just came over me but I also feel a sense of dread. The fact that no one likes me and to most, I am just a bug makes me feel sad.
"We should run while he is like this." Zach urgently whispered
"No, let me see what I can do." Said Rose
"Well, you can come with us. We could be friends," said Rose
"That sounds wonderful but no I mean I want to but. Fine, I'll come with you. Just let me get rid of you first"
ác quỷ beetle went into where he was holding young Zach and let him go. The ác quỷ beetle cut through the air to send them home but when Zach went through he grabbed the knife from the ác quỷ beetle and threw it back into the past. When they came back into the present, the ác quỷ beetle said "I think you would want this." and handed Zach a paper.
"What is this?" asked Zach.
"It's a paper I found in your foster home."
The paper was Zach and someone else's birth certificate. It said his last name was Selber and that he had a twin brother named Mich. Zach was astonished that he had a brother. He wondered where he was, why he never met him, and why he wasn't in the foster home with him. The ác quỷ beetle had the answer to all of that. He said that his brother had died from falling off a balcony. Zach asked him how he knew that. The bug said that there was a newspaper on the wall that read Mich Selber fell off a balcony because his mother left the door open. She has put her other kid into foster care so that is not to happen again. Zach started to cry as he came to a realization that any hope of him finding a remnant of his family is basically gone.
"I think you need a name if you are going to hang with us," said Rose out of nowhere.
"Like what?"
"I don't know. How about Mich."
Zach heard that name and realized what Rose was doing. She was saying he was part of the family. Zach still didn't trust the ác quỷ beetle but he thought that he should trust Rose.
"Ya, I think that is a great name," said Zach. They all headed back to the present. When they got back, they got Mich a room in Zach's house.
Zach thought of something when he got back. He realized that his knife was non-existent. He got it from Mich who got it from him. The knife had no point in time where it was created. Which explains why it had such odd properties and why he couldn't find what it was made of. But then the question was why does it exist.
