The training started out simple enough, Zach would do parkour sword fight using plastic swords with Yang but after they took a fifteen-minute break everything changed. Zach had to use real swords and fight waves of golems told to attack Zach. He did this for three hours straight without a single break. Eventually, he got too tired to even lift his legs and the golems stabbed him in his head. Zach expected death but instead, he heard Yang say
"Wow good job you got farther than I thought you would!"
Zach was confused as he took the sword out of his head as there was no blood no pain no nothing. He walked over to Yang to ask why he wasn't dead. All she said was
"No one can die while in this palace. Not from old age not from stab wounds nothing"
He was dumbfounded and confused so he just walked out of the training area with his hand over the place he had been stabbed and the other hand holding the sword he used in training. He realized that he couldn't win his training by using conventional methods. So he headed to the sleeping quarters given to him by Leben. He gathered all the parts he could by going around the palace. What he ended up making was a pair of shoes with a nail in the heel that would stab into the ground and spin absurdly fast. He went back to training this time wearing the shoes and asked Yang for another sword this time around. When he went in to fight he let the robot gather around him before he activated his shoes. He held his swords out creating a tornado of swords killing any robot who got close to him. This time he got an A-plus rating and passed that training course. Yang loved his idea and thought it was perfect for someone like him who doesn't do things the normal way.
"Great job out there now on to stage two."
" Wait there is a stage two?" Zach said surprised.
" Yes, didn't you know that?"
Just as Yang was going to explain stage two Leben yelled
"ALERT ALERT, HUMANITY THREATENING CATASTROPHE OCCURRING IN DOWNTOWN NEW YORK!"
