It was a few days after the battle of Farthen Dur. And the Varden had to choose a new leader.They choose Ajihads daugther Nasuada.
It was the perfect moment for Eragon to start training with the elves so he packed.But only hours before the planned start of the journey a message arrived the Varden an thats why the group was standing before Nasuada.
"So what is the message saying ?" asked orik the dwarve.With hte wink of her arm Nasuada ordered Jörmundur to read the letter loud.
"To the leader of the Varden"
As your ally against the dictatorship from Galbatorix we know of the plans to let the dragonrider Eragon train by the elves so the King Orrin of Surda decided that he wanted to send a ambassador from Surda to strenght the bond between the Kingdom of Surda and the elves.
Also we want to ensure that the dragonrider is getting the education he needs.
Which is our interest because we are sending the stocks the Varden need to save us from Alagaesia from Galbatorix

Even the densest person would have noticed that everyone in the room was pretty pissed.Even if Aryas ever stoic expression told one nothing.So timidly Eragon asked timidly"So i guess there is a hidden meaning i dont get ?"Slowly Arya opened her eyes"Yes Eragon,that is right."she started slowly"The letter is implied that my people arent able to teach a dragon rider which is a huge insult also it said that the ambassador is spying the elves knowledge."Then Nasuada continued in the same calm voice."They also are imply there dominance and our dependence on them."So they are pretty much arrogant fools"finished Orik ."And we can't do anything about it because we need them" said Nasuada."So as much as i hate it to say you need to be nice to them very nice."So we need to wait for him?" asked Arya in a cold voice."Yes sadly"That sounds like the ambassador of Surda is going to be an arrogant fool. thought Arya in Eragons head and Eragon could only agree with her.
After they left the room Eragon decided to ask Arya something:"Arya was the relationship between the elves and Surda always that bad?"The elve looked thoughtfull for a while before she answered":Yes and No the opinion of elves was always biased and Surda was more radical in that department but they never had the nerve to do that.King Orrin certainly didnt made any friends today."Well that ambassador will definitley make things complicated."Thought Sapphira.

Eragon was just training his swordfighting when a messenger, Jarsha was the boys name if Eragon wasnt wrong, ran to him and had to catch his breath."Wow calm down Jarsha im not goint to bit and neither is Saphira"Very funny Eragon" . "The ambassador from Surda arrived you need to come to the waterfall immediatley my lord".Well showtime Saphira thought Eragon grimly.
When Eragon arrived at the waterfall he noticed that Nasuada,Arya,Orik and Jörmundur were already there.
Eragon POV
I wanted to ask Arya when the Ambassador would pass the waterfall when something intresting happened in the middle of the watterfall the water suddenly stopped flowing instead a circle formed hole with a radius of 1,5 metres appeared an a person stepped trough the hole.Everyone stiffened at that display of power.When he stood on their side of the waterfall he could muster the man fully.He stood tall at 1,8 metres and had a body build that clearly told that he had toned abs and wore a purple-shaded ,cloth-armor.When he lowered his hood the surprise was big the man was round about 25 years old with snow white hair he had a pale hide with a scar stetched above his right eye.He had a short-hair cut but the eyes were something truly extrordinare the looked like...
