Chapter 3

* 2 years previous..

" Do you think it's gonna work Sky ?"

voices whispered in unison in Sky's ears.

" What do you mean ? " Sky asked

" Well you know, is she going to " a female voice said before a male continued the question. " help us ? "

" Shay. Shayla. Well, I don't really know.. " Sky answered

" Let's hope she does! " another female voice said, jumping into the conversation.

" Yes let's hope so Nicole.. " Sky said

" Has she arrived yet ? " another male voice asked, Sky nodded to no one in particular and asked " She's arrived, I can see her. Patrick, Erick, are you in your positions ? "

" yes. " both answered together.

" Good. Tim, can you see what I'm seeing ? " Sky asked

" Yes Sky, I can see what you're seeing. " Tim answered

" Alright, so we're all set! " Sky exclaimed frightening a bird nearby. He stood by a tree in front of a church where he observed a girl that hid in It's shadows. She had brown hair that came down to her elbows, her bangs covered her eyes and she was dressed in all black.

Sky started walking towards her, but something made him stop, something had caught his eye.

Everyone presumably in the church, came rushing out and a man who had been standing on the other side of the street, crossed over and pick pocketed what looked like to be the priest. Sky looked over to where he had last seen the girl in black, but she disappeared and Sky found himself looking back to the crowd trying to spot her. He saw the girl behind the thief who had stolen the priest's wallet, bumping into him, she took the wallet from him and returned it to the priest without either of them noticing.

Sky was amazed, this had all happened in the short span of 90 seconds- she's good, he thought.

He walked over to the girl, who had returned to her original spot and asked " Gabrielle ? "

" Depends on who's looking for her. " the girl answered making Sky smile as he answered " Ezra. W - " but the crowd cut him off with their noise.

Raising his voice he simply said "Sky". Looking over to the crowd and nodding her head she asked " What brings you here Mr. Sky ? " 

" You. " Sky answered simply, a look of surprise crossed Gabrielle's face and Sky pressed on " I saw what you did there. "

" What was that? " Gabrielle asked trying to pretend she had no clue as to what he was talking about. Sky rolled his eyes and said " Re-steal the Nan's wallet and give it back. "

Gabrielle smiled cleverly before saying " You can't con an honest man. "

" That's why I'm here. Are you Gabrielle Reese? " Sky asked

Gabrielle shifted on her feet and nodded " I need your help " Sky said

" What for ? " Gabrielle asked

" I need you to help me, or us I should say, steal the Sophia. " Sky said
