When Gabrielle and Sky walked back inside, Shay and Shayla were hanging upside down off of the ceiling like bats. Erick and Patrick trying to persuade them to come down and Tim was explaining something to Nicole on his computer.
" I don't owe you the jet, dear. " Sky said to Nicole, with smirk. Nicole simply rolled her eyes putting her hair behind her ears and her hands on her hips, she resembled a model.
" that makes you my personal slave for the length of this job. " Sky added dropping himself on the couch and propping his feat up on the table.

Gabrielle was confused as she looked between the two, then at everyone else in the room.
" she said "yes" ? " Nicole asked, clearly surprised by the outcome of their bet. Sky's smile widened as he nodded and sighed in satisfaction before closing his eyes and leaning his head back. " what were the odds? " Nicole said shaking her head.
" very little, but I managed. " Sky said his signature smirk making its reappearance. " I'm good at this aren't i? " Sky added to himself
The rest of the crew who had fallen silent, we're now chuckling in amusement as Gabrielle stood looking around completely lost.
" We made a bet Gabby- can I call you that?" Sky said sitting up
" yeah." Gabrielle answered and Sky nodded and sat back putting his hands behind his head before continuing " So I betted that you would agree to helping us out and Nicole betted that you'd refuse. Since I won, she doesn't get my jet and she has to be my maid for the duration of this job. "
" Anyways, we're glad you joined us, even if it cost me being Sky's servant for the job. " Nicole said rolling her eyes at Sky before adding " Shall we start?"
" Let's. " Gabby answered simply

Everyone gathered around the small table where Sky had placed the blue prints. " So, the first step is to steal the information on the location of the Sophia, which to get, we will be grifting ourselves in the Vangh building. So here's the plan..."

At about half past 8 o'clock, the plan was written and ready for execution.
Noticing Gabrielle's expression and her eyes wandering around, Sky said
" Yeah, this is my house. My parents aren't showing up. "
" How did you meet them?" Gabrielle asked sensing it was a touchy subject. " Who? My parents..?" Sky asked
" No, them. " Gabrielle said motioning to where Patrick and Erick stood by Tim and his lap top and to the girls walking in heels.
" Oh, well I grew up knowing them.
I met Shay, Shayla, Patrick and Erick when they snuck into our house and stole plates at the age of 5. I'd always cover for them. " Sky said smiling recalling the memory before continuing " Timmy, I know from his dad doing business with mine. That was before I met the sets of twins. And Nicole, I remember had a crush on me when we were 8.."
" Who wouldn't crush on you?" Gabby whispered to herself
" What?" Sky asked
" Nothing.. You were saying..?" Gabrielle said
" Well, she stopped when I reminded her that we are cousins." Sky said
" It could've worked, you guys aren't blood related." Gabrielle said
" Eww no!" Sky said looking appalled by the thought, as if she had coodies.

Gabrielle looked at Nicole, there was nothing disgusting about her, she was stunning. Sky, noticing Gabrielle's gaze, said " Don't get me wrong, she's gorgeous but I met her when we were 6, her mom marrying my uncle. When she was 8, she was a hopeless romantic and I was the closest guy to her. " Sky chuckled
" She's always been like a sister to me. An older sister that is.. " Sky said smirking. Gabrielle matching his smirk asked " Does she know you talk about her like that?"
" No, I don't think so. And it's best if it stays that way. " Sky said smiling
" Don't worry, your secrets safe with me. " Gabrielle said returning his smile and giving him a friendly pat on the back as he winked at her.
" what about your family? " Sky asked breaking the silence that was present.

Gabrielle's face changed as she felt the sadness creep in before saying " My mother died when I was little and I've lived with my uncle ever since. But don't worry, he doesn't expect me home nowadays. " she added
" Why's that?" Sky asked
" Because he knows I'm looking for someone.." She replied
" what about your dad?" Sky asked
" that's who I'm looking for Sky.. " Gabrielle said looking down after a moment of hesitation. Sky's hand met her's on her lap, it was warm and comforting. Gabrielle had just met Sky and she was already trusting him. Maybe he just had that effect on people, or maybe he just had that effect on her, she thought.
" It's going to be okay. " Sky said
Gabrielle believed him and truly felt that things would turn out for the better.
