Chapter 4

After hearing those words, Gabrielle grew serious and her thoughts on what had seemed like a flirty conversation were dead.

" The Sophia ? " she asked

" Indeed, yes. " Sky answered

" I'm sorry. I'm afraid I can't. " Gabrielle started to say but Sky cut her off saying " Trust me, the man we'd be conning is not an honest man. He stole the Sophia from my family. " Gabrielle stood there contemplating it. She was a good thief, but it didn't mean she liked the idea. " I want to hear the whole story of this situation, but no guarantees as to whether or not I take part of this. " Gabrielle said,  Sky nodded and in a matter of seconds a car pulled up by the church. The driver stepped out and opened the door for Sky and the young woman that followed suit.

" It's good to meet you Gabrielle. " said the young man in the passenger seat. The driver, looking similar to the young man riding shotgun added

" indeed it is. "

" It's nice to meet you, Patrick and Erick.." Gabrielle said causing the twins to look at one another baffled and Sky just smiled and extended his long legs. " How do you know-" Patrick started to say but stopped as Gabrielle leaned forward handing him two wallets. " Did you - " Erick started and Patrick continued " pick pocket us ? " Gabrielle just sat back smiling and Patrick added " Ohh your good. " Sky smiled and said " I told you so. "

Nicole having been able to listen in the whole time said " Yeah Sky, but she hasn't agreed yet. "

" Don't be such a party pooper! '' Sky answered

" What ? " Gabrielle asked confused

" It's just Nicole, my cousin. You'll meet her soon enough but in the mean time, here you can talk to her. " Sky said pulling out another earpiece and leaning closely to Gabrielle, he gently pushed back Gabrielle's hair and put the device in. Gabrielle turned her head to see Sky smile, his face, impossibly close to her's. " Talk " Sky whispered

" Hello ? " Gabrielle said uncertainly

" Nice to meet you Gabrielle, I've heard a lot about you. " came a voice from the device

" Nice to meet you too, Nicole, I believe. " Gabrielle said

" You're going to owe me the jet Sky! " Nicole said

" No I don't, not yet my dear. " Sky said with a smirk on his face, before taking out his earpiece.

" Sky. Sky ? Sky... Sky?!! " Nicole yelled into the earpiece

Sky had sat back in his seat and looked to be already asleep.

" He took the device off.." Gabrielle said with a small smile to which Nicole sighed

They arrived at a big house with tall stone walls and a garden, which surprisingly appears welcoming. At the door waiting, stood a tall golden haired girl, arms crossed and her body that of a model's. Gabrielle couldn't help but feel inferior to her. " You can't just hang up on me, Sky. " She said as the four in the car came out." I didn't hang up on you Nicole, I just simply wasn't listening to you. " Sky said with a clever smirk on his face, Gabrielle noticed that he liked to smile like that.

" Ohh you know what I mean. " Nicole said rolling her eyes as she went inside the house.

When Gabrielle entered the house through the front doors, two girls to which Gabrielle couldn't tell apart, fell face upside down hanging on invisible cords like bats.
