Love at First Sight

~The News and Unexpected Visitor~

Slam.
My door closes behind me with a little breeze. I listen again.
"So? what's the 'amazing news that no other spy has'?" he sounded like he was about to tell her off for no reason.
"oh! Uh... She had a test today in chemistry and got one hundred percent! Late joiner and already one of the top in class!" she got softer and softer and she spoke.
"Oh? Really? That's good to know!" he turns and heads upstairs, each step getting louder as he approached my door. I quick scramble onto my bed and take out random papers. I had my door locked, which thankfully gave me some more time. The door knob jiggled as he tried to open my door.
"Paint! Open the door this instant! I need to have a word with you!" he sounded mad. But why? Joy gave him good news.
"What if I dont want to talk? Hrm? You're the one who wanted me to do my homework so sudden, and NOW you want to talk to me?" I was trying to be as sassy as possible, but I dont think it worked. He just got angrier.
"FINE! IF YOU DONT WANT TO TALK!" he takes a deep breath "Fine. I'm going to go out and get something for dinner tonight. When I get home you better be here AND have your homework done!" he walks away, furious. I could just picture him walking away as if his hair was on fire! OooOooOO I could draw that! Obviously I didn't have homework, so I started to draw the picture of him. I open my sketchbook to find a new page and then I found the picture of him. My locker buddy. Who is he! His face... Looks so familiar! I brush it aside. I look out my window to see the car gone. Well. I'm not going anywhere!
A few minutes later, the doorbell rings. I quick open my door and run to see who it is. I open the front door to see the face. His face. My locker buddy, Ace.
