They eventually decided it would be easier to just travel by air. they bought tickets for the day after so they could rest and slept on the airport's hotel.
They had dinner, took a shower and after, they went shopping. Zoe has a magical credit card Hermes got her for her birthday, it auto-pays itself, so Zoe is basically the richest person ever, the thing is she does not buy with it much.
Zoe wasn't planning on going with them but Jason bought her a ticket anyways.
"Dude, do you like her?" he asked Jason.
"No, but she saved my life, I can't leave without offering something"
Yeah, Charley thought, he's totally into her
At dinner Jason kept insisting she came with them, and finally, after about 1 and a half hours of him begging, she said yes.
"That's gonna be a weird couple" he whispered to Valerie.
"Agreed" she replied.
When the flight departed form Vienna everyone was well rested and feeling good, until they passed the cloud line.
There stood a black marvelled palace floating with the clouds, Charley had heard of this place.
"Aquilo's palace." said Jason with a grim voice, they where in a big plane that had three rows of 4-3-4. They were seated on the right side of the plane with Charley on the aisle, Vale and Zoe in the middle, and Jason in the window.
The plane started to shake, but not your everyday, normal, shake, a wild, violent shake.
"I can see venti outside" Jason informed.
"What's a venti?" asked Valerie.
"Air spirits" said Zoe, "we must be over France."
"Why do you think that?" Said Charley.
"A few weeks back, one demigod...son of Hermes I think, said that the north god was moving his palace over France, but he didn't saw witch city exactly." replied Zoe, the plane stopped shaking, for a minute it seemed that the wind god stopped attacking them. Then lightning hit the right wing.
The plane started to spin out of control, the emergency doors flung open and venti started to flood the plane, self destructing and rendering unconscious everyone around them.
"Everyone! unfasten your seatbelt" yelled Jason and everyone did, but Valerie and Jason where taken by four venti outside the plane, four more came for Zoe and Charley. Charley jumped to the aisle, and when he looked back Zoe was gone, he ran for the emergency door and jumped out, as a son of Jupiter he could control the winds, he floated there...it was peaceful for a second, then the plane exploded under him.
He summoned Ignis and stated blasting and stabbing the air spirits. he saw Jason, Valerie and Zoe be taken towards the castle, and that's where he headed.
Next stop, he thought, Aquino's palace.
