I paced through the halls of Ever Hills High School taking in the sights of some of the different cliques in the school. As Courtney calls them, the "losers", the "emos", the " faggots ", and the "long haired losers". Let's just say, Courtney is pretty harsh. Just because someone is smart, wears dark clothing, doesn't have the same sexuality as you, or has long hair and rides skateboards doesn't give her the right to call them that. I'm friends with all of them. Heck, I'm friends with pretty much everyone. I smiled and waved at my friends from scattered cliques. I finally approached my clique. The "popular" clique. Courtney ran up to me saying " Violet! I've been looking for you everywhere! There's a totally yummy new guy! His name is Adrian Drax and I defiantly think you should go for him! You two would make the cutest couple! " Well I know one thing. The only reason she didn't go for him herself is because she already has a boyfriend.

Aaron dumped me for her. My best friend. Well technically, she isn't really my best friend. I don't really like her all that much. I just know I would rather be friends with her than fear her. She would make high school a living Hell for me if I wasn't her friend. But she always flaunts Aaron when I'm around. Kissing him when she doesn't need to, embracing, hugging, sweet talking, I can't stand it! Aaron dumped me as soon as he saw her. Knowing she was prettier, more popular, better. Her pin straight, long, brown, luscious hair. Eyes the warmest shade of brown.A beautiful tan complexion. I'm just a dull blonde wavy haired, pale, green eyed girl. I know I'm pretty, but nothing to compare to Courtney.
No wonder he dumped me.
I wasn't ready to be in a relationship with "mystery new kid". No way would I "go for him" like Courtney said. " Um, maybe. I was just planning on staying single for now." I smile slightly and look down. Before she could answer the bell for 8th period rang. Math class. Great.
Making it into math just before the bell, I think I spotted the new guy.
