Daniel.
I've had no luck finding the fallen angel or the Clavis. Since it was Sunday, I decided to head to church. I went through the double doors and stood in the back of the church. On one of the pews, I spotted the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Her long soft hair was golden. Her eyes were a soft green. Her lips were full and perfectly shaped, right against her milky complextion. She was unlike any other girl I've ever seen before. She was breath-taking. "She's beautiful." I said to myself, knowing no one could hear.
Or so I thought.
" Thank you. " she said as she turned around, smiling sweetly, nearly blowing me away. She saw what I was wearing and her eyes widened. With a chuckle she said, " Halloween already? " I couldn't speak. How could she see me? Was it possible? " H-how can you see me? " I said, confused. "Um, you're right there, hello? And why are you dressed up like an angel?" she asked. " This is no costume." I replied. Her face was hard to read. She looked confused, but she had a smirk. " You mean you're an angel?" she said, I knew she wasn't buying it. " That's exactly what I'm saying. " I said, still shocked I'm actually having a conversation with a human. By this time she was already standing next to me, away from her family. " Meet me in the parking lot when church ends, I need to get to the bottom of this. "
" Sure." she laughed and we both looked towards the priest.
When church was over, I walked out and waited for the mysterious girl to meet me. She walked towards me her long, wavy hair blowing in the wind, her green eyes looking into to mine. " I never got to fully introduce myself. I'm Daniel, I'm 16 and I died in 1960. And you? " I said calmly. " Uh, I'm Violet, I'm also 16 and I was born on July 7th." she said, thinking this was some kind of joke. I decided to prove her wrong. I lifted slowly off the ground, using my wings to carry me through the air. Looking down, I noticed her jaw dropping. Then, she smiled. Her smile nearly blew me away as I landed gently on the ground.
" I believe you now. "
" You should've in the first place. " My eyes grazed her, stroking over her perfect face, then moving onto her neck when I noticed a black cord hanging.
And that's when it hit me.
" Let me see your necklace. "
