I took my seat in the back row of the classroom. Three seats away from me was a gorgeous, curly brown-haired, green eyed boy. I've never seen him around so I'm guessing he's the new kid.
Courtney was right, he is "yummy"!
Ms.Thorn looks at the new kid and gestures him to stand up. "Everybody, this is Adrian Drax. He is new in Ever Hills." Ms.Thorn said. "Where are you from Adrian?" she asked." I'm from the South " he replied. " Wonderful! " she exclaimed. " Now take a seat and let's begin our lesson on negative integers! " she smiled sweetly and scribbled some numbers on the board.
I pretended to take notes as I wrote on my paper " Hey, I'm Violet. How's your first day here so far? " I threw it to Adrian when Ms.Thorn wasn't looking. He scribbled a few things and threw it back. " Hey, it's pretty good so far. How is this school? " he wrote. I replied " It has it's ups and downs but you'll like it here." I threw it back.
As I waited for him to reply, I fiddled with my necklace. I've had this necklace for as long as I can remember. It's an amber color and it's circular. It has a hole in the middle and it's held by a thick, black cord. I glanced at Adrian. He was smiling at me. But it wasn't a regular smile.
It was a creepy smile.
Maybe he just smiles like that. Whatever. He tossed the note back. " What are you doing next Friday night? " My cheeks turned pink the moment I read it. He was gorgeous, sweet, and he was interested in me. I had to say yes! " I'm free. Pick me up at 7 and we'll see a movie. " I gave him the note and gave him a sweet smile, our eyes meeting. His piercing green gazing into mine. Next Friday is going to be great. I can feel it.
