Right after she left, the hawk swooped down and shapeshifted, in midair, into a human.
"Hey. I'm Mabel."
"Hi. I'm Sabrina."
"Welcome to the forest. We will teach you everything you need to know about shapeshifting."
"Who is we?"
"You'll see."
When she said that, the mountain lion leaped down from the ledge and the wolf bounded over. Then they shapeshifted into their human form.
"Hi i'm Jax." The mountain lion said as he walked over.
"I'm Dash." The wolf said.
"Do you guys know my parents?"
"You bet we do." Jax said. "And you have a brother......"
Mabel slapped a hand over Jax's mouth.
"What was that about a brother?" I said
"You will know soon enough" Dash said in a stern tone.
"Well we better start on making sure you can shapeshift into whatever you want and not like us only being able to shapeshift into two things." Mabel said.
"Ok. What do we start on?"
"First, a mountain lion." Jax said.
