Chapter 5

"KELLY WAKE UP!!!" John screamed.
"What's the matter John? What happened?" Kelly softly said and yawned.
"Actually, I'm the one who should be asking this question..." John said crossing his arms over each other.
Kelly picked up his phone and noticed that it was 8:10 am. He had many missed calls from his parents.
"Damn... I slept with Maria," Kelly said shockingly.
"Yes indeed you did bro. How is she in bed?" John replied back and chuckled, as he was just like Kelly in some ways.
"She's hot as fuck but looks like shawty ran away," Kelly said biting his lower lips.
"Yeah he left and gave me an attitude," John said rolling his eyes.
"Great," Kelly said raising his eyebrows while biting his lower lips.

Maria couldn't go back home because Kelly was the one who brought her to the party, so she went home by taxi but her head was hurting so badly.
Maria's parents opened the door.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US YOU WERE GONNA STAY IN NICOLE'S HOUSE!??!" Her dad shouted.
"Sorry Dad. I really wanted to sleep over there," she claimed and swallowed the lump.
Maria obviously lied to her parents.
Maria ate breakfast with her parents then came up to her room and saw her phone:
You have a message from Nicole: 'Do you want to meet at Starbucks at 2:00 pm to talk. I know I have missed a lot gossip. I want to know why you stayed at John's house.'
Maria rolled her eyes and replied to the message: 'okay. We'll meet up. Thanks for the cover up lmao.'
"MOM!" She shouted.
"Yes love," her mother replied as she smiled at her.
"I will go at 2:00 pm to Starbucks to chill with Nicole."
"Okay baby. Just don't forget to bring with you apples and oranges for my next cake," her mom said and Maria nodded.
They both giggled and Maria rolled her eyes.

Maria was shocked. She didn't receive any messages from Kelly. She didn't want to text him either. She didn't know what to say after last night.
It was 2:00 pm. Maria and Nicole were at Starbucks.
"Hi Maria! What's new??? What happened with John?" Nicole said.
"My head hurts so badly and the real question is what happened with Kelly..." Maria answered and shrugged.
"What?! I thought you slept with John because you were at his house."
"No... I overslept with Kelly in John's room..."
"WHAT AM I HEARING?!" Nicole said as she opened her mouth shockingly.
"Words," Maria said laughing and teasing her.
Nicole rolls her eyes at Maria and says: "Now really, what happened? This ain't funny girl..."
"I couldn't control myself," Maria sighed.
"Did Kelly talk to you? Or did you text him?"
"No."
"You did a big mistake Maria. You shouldn't have slept with him... Y'all ain't even dating and he's known to have one night wonders with girls," Nicole said, desperately sighing.
"Yeah, I don't know," Maria replied to Nicole as she rolled her eyes.
"He only slept with you because he thinks you are hot... It was a huge mistake... I know you were drunk, but you shouldn't have drunk this much... He took advantage of you," Nicole said in a rather sad manner. "Do you like him or not?" Nicole added and palmed herself.
"Yes. I do Nicole, I do." Maria said as she sighed with her sweet voice.

Maria went home and saw her phone:
'Message from Kelly🤤'
When she read his name, she remembered how good and sexy he was in bed last night...
The message was only an emoji: '😓'
Maria didn't know what that meant, so she replied: 'Hey boo❤️', but he didn't answer...
He did read the message tho...

It was Monday again... Another week at school. Kelly was with his friends as usual, and Maria was with Nicole.
She desperately needed Kelly despite the fact that he hasn't spoken to her since what happened on Friday.
"What's the matter Maria..." Nicole said in a worried face.
"I'm fine..."
"You don't look fine..."
"Ok I wanna talk to Kelly..."
Kelly saw Maria approaching towards him and his boys.
He didn't even bother to look at her. It's like he was eluding her.
"Hi boo," Maria said and rubbed his arm.
"Who are you?" Kelly said, letting his arm loose and raising an eyebrow.
The other boys started to laugh.
"Oh wow... Ummm it's me, Maria. Nice joke though," Maria confusingly answered and gave an awkward smile.
"This isn't a joke," Kelly said rolling his eyes.
"What do you mean bruh," she said, with the most confused face ever.
"Girl who the fuck are you?" He said and laughed.
"What is happening..."
"Stuff... Stuff are happening Maria!" Kelly said winking.
The whole boys started to giggle and laugh after that.
Maria ran and hid in the toilet. She was shocked.
"What is happening?" She thought to herself.
She started sobbing and crying until there were no more tears left. She felt worthless after getting taken advantage of in the most brutal way ever.
Nicole ran after her.
"What happened..." She softly asked and hugged her friend.
"You were right about Kelly,"
"I don't know what to do..." She sobbed even harder. She felt that her heart disappeared. Kelly stole it like a bandit.
"Oh Maria... I know you liked him, but I warned you. I told you he only acts like he is the perfect guy and set traps. I told you he's a player," Nicole said as she tied Maria's hair and sighed.
Maria was speechless. All she wanted was to go home. She wanted to cry her tears out in her bed... She couldn't believe what Kelly did.

As she was going to class, she saw Andrew. "Hey Maria... I was with Kelly when he did that. I can't believe he did that to you. He dumped you after sleeping with you. He used you for sex... You deserve to be treated like a queen," Andrew said and smiled.
"But look at what he did to you... He embarrassed you in front of the boys. You are not the only girl he did this to trust me," Andrew added.
"Nicole told me this before, but I'm stupid and worthless. I didn't trust her... I didn't believe her... I thought Kelly felt something because since day 1 he never stopped staring at me." Maria said as she sighed with her broken heart.
