Chapter 9

"Hello Mom, hello Dad," Maria said cheerfully as she entered her house.
She was finally in a place where she can trust and be trusted.
"I've got something to tell you," Maria said sighing sadly.
"What is it baby? You don't look fine," her mother told her worryingly.
"I........failed....in..a....test..." Maria said in a slow motion and sighed softly.
"Nah you're joking," Her dad said laughing out loud.
"You never fail," Her mom added.
"I did and you need to sign it...."
"Oooooh my goch!!!" Her parents too, were shocked and upset.
"Don't worry they won't count it on the report card... And I will catch up tomorrow in the post test," Maria said with her usual innocent smile.
"Even though it won't be counted... It's the last time we see this garbage ass shit," her dad said frowning at her.
"Just promise us that you'll catch up tomorrow this and on Thursday your physics test," her mom added.
"Okay! I promise I won't upset you again! I love you!"
"We love you too," they both said.
"Now go study for your post test," her mom said, so Maria went up to her room to study.
She couldn't focus though. Kelly was on her mind again. She couldn't help but think about him since the moment he threw the ball at her butt. She knew it was on purpose.

Anyways it was now 9:30 pm and Maria finally finished studying.
She went downstairs, told her parents goodnight, brushed her teeth, wore her pyjamas, checked her phone one last time, and then slept. She really wanted to excel in this test. She wanted to show teachers the best version of herself.

It was the morning of Wednesday. The day of the post test. Maria woke up and did her usual morning routine and went to school.
She didn't wake up late this time. She learned a lesson and she wanted to fix her mistakes. She obviously didn't like the consequences that she was facing though.
Meanwhile, Kelly arrived to school and stood up with John as usual.
"Hey bro. How u doin today?"
"GD how 'bout u?"
"Fine. Did you study for the test?"
"Of course I did I don't want my parents to kill me," Kelly said so he started to laugh and giggle out loud with John.
"I see that your flirting skills are still conquering girls," John said raising his eyebrows and crossing his hands.
"It's not my fault that I'm an ass cool dude bro. And yes I know how to treat asses," Kelly replied as he licked his lips.
They both began to laugh once again.
Maria had already arrived to school at the moment.
She was just chatting and gossiping with Nicole and talking about how their parents reacted yesterday to their "awesome" grades and also about what happened yesterday with Kelly and Andrew.
Kelly had conspired not to talk to Andrew anymore. He was hitting on his girl. At least this is what he thought to himself.
"John let's go and do our job."
"What job bro?"
Kelly rolled his eyes at him and dragged him with himself to Maria.
"Watch and learn," he whispered to John.
"Hey girl! Is your butt still hurting you from yesterday's afternoon?" Kelly asked Maria in a sarcastic way on purpose to make her mad and believe me, he always succeeds in doing that.
"Ah no not you AGAIN," Maria said groaning at him and rolling her eyes.
Kelly grabbed her chin with his right hand. Her heart started to beat faster.
He made her feel in a way she never felt before.
"I thought you were done with me...." That's the only thing she wanted to tell him and she did tell him.
"Not yet," Kelly said as he winked at her.
She was really very satisfied with his green eyes. That killed her.
He went closer and closer to her ear.
"Games are still on," he softly said and slowly pecked her lips.
Maria opened her mouth shocked again.
"See?" Kelly asked John.
"Bro you are just too good," John told Kelly.
Anyways the bell rang.
"Hello students! It's time for your math post test," the math teacher said while smiling again.
Maria really focused a lot on her test even after what happened earlier in the morning. They finally finished their tests.

"Ah Nicole.... You won't believe what Kelly did to me... Again!"
"Didn't I warn you to stay away from him?" Nicole said as she frowned at her best friend.
She wasn't jealous. She was just protecting her.
"I can't Nicole... I love him!"
"It's not Real Love!" Nicole softly told Maria.
Maria just wanted to change the subject: "So how did you do in the post test?"
"Better. I guess..."
"She'll give them back next Monday. I can't wait. I know I did well in this one."
"Good job Maria," Nicole replied again as she smiled.
"Oh no tomorrow we have a boring Physics test," Maria said as she rolled her eyes.
"Oh no not again," Nicole answered again as she rolled her eyes.

Anyways they studied for 2 more hours and it was time to go back home again. Maria really felt weird today. Andrew didn't speak to her.
"Well I guess he's mad at some things. I don't care anyways," she thought.

She arrived back home and did the same ass boring night routine then slept.
She definitely studied for her physics test. She didn't want to ever slack off again. She was still upset because of Kelly though.

It was to wake up again.
"Just a boring Thursday but tomorrow is John's party," she thought.
She went to school and as usual, did her test, studied, ate lunch, studied again, and went back home. The same ass boring night routine again. It was finally FRIDAY!!!
She did have a literature and vocabulary test on Monday, but she'll study for it on Saturday and Sunday.
The same boring school routine and she went home. She was super excited for the party!!! She wore a hot dress, high heels, and makeup. She left her hair straight and down. She was bored of curly hair.
Nicole finally arrived to take her to the party and she also looked good.
"Hey Maria! How excited are you?"
"A LOT GIRL! LET'S ROCK IT!" Maria screamed out loud and they both start to laugh out loud.
"Yeah girl. Let's distract you from all that negativity," Nicole stated and smiled.
