Author's pov:
She stood there alone on a deserted road, under the blazing hot, the sun was pouring fire onto the everything. Being soaked in the pool of sweat, she was standing there, waiting for a ride. She gulped and wiped a layer of seat from her forehead and pushed her hand into her bag to get the water bottle out but to her dismay, the bottle was empty when gotten out. She again gulped at her dry throat and in the need of water.
It was a bad luck that not even one vehicle happend to cross that road. It was a deserted road, surrounded by burning sand dunes. Even if the wind was blowing, it was even more hotter and burning everything. All the luggage she had with her was quite heavy and it was impossible for her to drag it to don't know how many miles. She could do nothing but to curse at herself. She wanted to cry about her silly mistake.
When she boarded on the bus, due to all the tiredness it didn't take much time for her to fall asleep and it was odd that she slept so quickly when there are times when she can't sleep for days and nights. She was sleeping so deeply that didn't even realise that the bus stopped for about 15 minutes there and she had to get off on that station. She woke up and she had already left the station behind almost 1 hour ago.
And she ended up there on the road alone just to save a little amount of money she had. She was at the verge of crying now as she sat on her suit case and winced at the hot surface and hung low her head letting her wet hair cover her face.
A few minutes passed, her head still resting on her folded arms. She was at the brink of passing out, eye lids felt heavy and the scars behind her sleeves were stinging due to the sweat. It has been 30 minutes since she was standing there burning in the fierce hot.
Suddenly a car horn could be heard, she rose up her head and tried to open her eyes, but her sight got blurry against the brightness of the dazzling sun. Before she could react to anything she passed out and ended up in the arms of the grey haired boy.
He got surprised, when his hands came in touch with her burning body. He balanced himself and supported herself with his one arm and wore again his black sunglasses. The hair strand were covering the girl's face, sticking to it with sweat. He slowly brushed off her hair, exposing her white cheeks which were tinted red in colour due to standing in sunshine for so long. Her skin glistened with sweat. He looked at her from head to toes and oddly found her cute, wearing dark red sweater, her hands were hidden with sweater paws and wearing a light blue coloured jeans with white converse high. By her features, she didn't look like a pure American rather she looked like half Asian.
He winced when he realised that he was getting soaked in sweat in the stinging sunshine. He immediately dragged her the car and laid her in the backseat of his blue sports car. His gaze then moved over to her luggage, it showed only two possibilities, either she was moving to a new place or she ran from her house but what bothered him that what was she doing here alone, in a place like this where any vehicle barely pass. He sighed and ran his hand through his silky hair and struggled to put his luggage in the car. He then got in and placed himself in the driver's seat. He turned on a/c and quickly took out some papers from car glove box and turned back to the girl's figure, still passed out.
He pressed his lips in a line and flapped the papers near her face, and aired her to calm her down a bit. Then it hit him that she must have been thirsty. He opened the water bottle and sprinkled some on her face, which caused the girl to flinch and and squint her eyes. The boy widened his eyes seeing the girl getting conscious. He leaned towards her and bit his bottom lip in curiosity. He got startled when the girl opened her mouth to say something buy it was barely a faint whisper. It was like she had lost all of her energy. She gulped with eyes still closed and again tried to speak.
