Author's pov:On the vast sky, stars glimmered around the flickering moon in clusters. The howlers disturbing the tranquillity of the still night. Beams of gleaming moon falling in the room through the window, as both of them laid together. Katherine was still awake with the sky, unable to sleep. Fighting the restlessness inside her heart. Jimin was sleeping peacefully, his snores confirmed so. She changed her sides for the nth time being envious of him that he was able to sleep at night no matter what happened. closing her eyes while sighing, she put her arm on her eyes and tried to sleep even though it won't come.
The darkness of the night eventually gradually turned into the blueness of the sky. The birds chirped around the fields in the slightly cool breeze. Katherine opened her eyes to the brightness of the sunlight, she sat up squinting her eyes and looked back at the snoring jimin. She let out a breathy suppressed laugh while looking at his calmed face. His slightly opened mouth was undeniably cute.
She got up and went to bathroom, took shower and changed into fresh clothes and came back to the room to see jimin still sleeping, laying on his stomach.
She pushed all the cloth away from the window and jimin whined at the sudden brightness. He groaned and buried his face under the pillow while still shuffling in the bed.
She started packing the luggage and accidentally dropped a pot lying there on the table causing jimin to shot opens his eyes at the flinching sound. He hastily sat up looked at Kathy sitting there. She mouthed a sorry and put the pot back in its place.
"Good morning", she turned around and greeted with blank face.
"Good morning" he replied as he bit the insides of his cheek. The events from last night still so vivid in the back of his mind like a lucid dream. The guilt was crystal clear in his orbs, beautiful orbs.
"freshen up, the breakfast is almost ready", she said zipping up her bag. He didn't let out anything just simply nodded before stretching out his arms, his muscles constantly flexing at the movements. "jimin!" his name softly rolled upon her tongue as she stopped in the doorstep and turned around.
His head snapped quickly at her direction, "hnm?"
"I've folded your clothes you should put them in the bag" she gestured towards his shirts resting beside his bag.
"Thankyou so much", he reluctantly smiled at her to which she just nodded and left the room. He let out a sigh and got up as he put the shirts in the bag and made his way out of the room, still stretching out his arms and neck.
---After breakfast, the old couple had already gone to the fields. Jimin came out of the room and looked for Katherine and eventually a ghost of smile tugged on his lips when he saw her sitting on the staircase of the doorstep. He went near her and sat beside and she was still so unaware of his presence. He stared at her side profile, how her white and rosy cheeks glowed as usual. Her doe shaped round eyes staring into the space as she mindlessly played with the her hair strands, he could only simper at her.
He smiled at how lost she was in her own world of imagination that she didn't even notice him sitting there with her for a while now. He smirked and suddenly leaned towards her and rested his head on her laps to which she snapped and jolted in her place. She hastily jostled his head from her lap and pushed him to crash into the wall. He whined while rubbing his arm.
"ouch. You didn't have to push me so hard"
"you didn't have to do that in the first place" she said with her usual blank face.
"you didn't even notice me sitting with you. What were you thinking? Is there anything on your mind? Is something bothering you?" he showered her with questions as he picked a few little flower branches and twisted them around to make a round bracelet.
