Third Person's POV

Today was awkward for both Serena and Ash. Though they greeted like usual in morning but they didn't talk much to each. Ash's parents and his sister were also confused about their strange behaviour.

In the evening

With Ash going to Clemont's house

Ash's POV

Today I will talk to him and find out the meaning behind these mixed feelings. I need to know this. Ohh... Clemont please be at home. I seriously need your help.

In front of Clemont's house

Alright here it goes. 

Third Person's POV

Clemont opens the door and takes Ash to his bedroom so that they could talk comfortably.

In his room

Clemont: So what is it Ash? You look kinda pale. Tell me what's wrong.

Ash: Okay so what happened was.

(Ash narrates the whole story. Clemont had a great interest in that.)

Clemont: I think I get what you are saying. You are right now confused with your feelings for Serena and Misty. You had loved Misty with all your heart but you know she ...er.. she kind of.. didn't feel the same.

Ash: You are right and I really am trying to move on but...it' taking too much time and sometimes I feel like I don't even want her anymore while sometimes I can't help but get lost in her thoughts.

Clemont: I know but you will hurt yourself and her in this. Now listen to me very carefully. Sometimes we think we are in love and will never leave that person even if she rejects us a million times. But because of this, the one whom we should actually love moves away from us. I am not directing it to any particular person but what is love? It is something we feel when someone makes us comfortable. We can look at him or her for our whole life. We laugh on stupid things with them. We feel relieved when we are with them. We can talk about anything with them and at last we know that they would never leave us alone.

Ash: You are right I had forgotten about the actual meaning of love. Now I know what is important to me. Thank you so much Clemont. I should going now. See you at the park tomorrow.

Clemont: No need of thanks. Alright see you at park at 5.

At the same time with Serena at May's home

May: What brought you here?

Serena: Ummm.. it's kind of complicated.

May: Alright I got it. It's about Ash right? Sit down and tell me everything from the top to bottom.

(Serena sits on the bed beside May and tells her the whole story)

Serena: I don't know what is in his mind? But if this continues then it's going to be.... you know it right?

May: From what I know this behavior of him is strange to me as well. Though I don't know him quite well but I think you should tell him that you love him.

Serena (with wide eyes): What?! I can't. What if he rejects me? Then we will be really awkward inside that house.

May: I know it will be difficult but listen girl if you tell him then no matter what his answer will be at least you will have what you had been waiting for so long. And from what I know I don't think he will dislike you or stop talking to you. Give this one a go. It can change everything.

Serena: I admit it. You are right but I am scared. But at least I can try right. If he rejects me I will need a shoulder though. (May gives her a bear hug) Thank you so much May.

May: I am glad I could help. I'll be praying for you so take the opportunity and tell me about it in the park at 5 tomorrow.

With Serena in her room

Serena's POV

No matter what happens I am gonna do this today.

With Ash in his room

Ash's POV

I'll do it today and then either everything will be fine or one more heartbreak for me.
