Sixteen

*Y/n's POV*

I arrive at the coffee house and it's 10:32am. I see Grayson sat at a table at the other side but he hadn't seen me yet. Damn he looks good. He's only wearing some Adidas sweatpants and hoodie but woah he can pull it off! He lifts his head up and sees me walking towards him. He stands up motioning for a hug.

Gray: "Hey babe, how are you?"

He says as he goes in for the hug.

Y/n: "A bit better baby"

Gray: "Lemme get you a drink, whatcha want?"

Y/n: "A hot chocolate please"

I took a seat as I placed down my bag beside me and I scroll through my Instagram news feed. I had been tagged in photos. Photos of me at the party. Photos of me with the captions such as;

'Fucking slut, go to hell'

'Wouldn't dare date a hoe like her'

And many more unspeakable words. As I'm scrolling through the hateful comments, a tear rolls down my cheek.

Grayson comes back with the drinks and I quickly wipe away the tear and thank him. He sits down.

*End of POV*

Gray: "How ya feeling?"

Y/n: "I'm okay"

Gray: "You know you can tell me anything, you can trust me"

Y/n: "I know and I will but I just wanted to say that I am so sorry about what happened last night, I shouldn't have been so abrupt with you, I know you only meant well"

Gray: "No need to apologise babe, I respect that you needed space"

Y/n: "The reason I was and still am upset is because...well erm-"

Gray: "you don't have to tell me if you don't want to"

Y/n: "I do, I do is just that idk how you'll react"

Gray: "What do you mean? I'll support you and help you get through anything, no need to worry"

Y/n: "Okay so at the party last night I heard horrible comments being said about me about how bad I look and saying that your too good for me and I'm a slut etc etc but when I went to the bathroom to clear my head, a few other girls were in there and basically carried on speaking shit about me. Eventually I was pinned to the wall and the girl kicked my stomach and threw a punch at my face which explains the bruise.."

Repeating what happened another tear rolls down your face. Grayson sits in shock, speechless.

Grayson: "Omg y/n why didn't you say anything straight away?! I can't believe this, I saw the bruise but looked right passed it as you still look gorgeous and I didn't want to mention it. Y/n I am so so sorry this has happened I am honestly in so much shock. Are you hurt baby? I will get this sorted don't you worry. I am so sorry please forgive me don't cry babe"

He wipes the tears away with his thumb.

Y/n: "Stop apologising babe, it's not your fault. I didn't want to say anything as I thought you might take it out on the fans when it was just a few individuals"

And with that a waterfall of tears cascaded down your soft cheeks. You stand up and hug Grayson for a long time. He holds on to you tightly and kissed the top of your head. You look up at him as he's about to say something.

Gray: "I will always be here for you, no matter what. I love you!"

A weird sensation fulfils your stomach.

Y/n: "I love you too!"
