*Grayson's POV*

Ethan and I were talking in the water.

Ethan: "Dude when are you gonna ask this girl out?!"

Grayson: "Idk man. Maybe tomorrow at the party but I'm to nervous I've never met anyone like her"

Ethan: "Wait until the moments right and just go for it. I know she likes you in that way, I've seen the way she acts around you plus I did see that thing you had going on in the back on the way here".

Grayson: "What thing.."

Ethan: "Don't play dumb with me, you know exactly what I'm talking about"

Grayson: "Fineeee"

Grayson and Ethan come over and ask if you both wanna go cliff jumping. You agree and head over to the cliff. Inside you were nervous but you always try to never let your nerves get the better of you. Grayson knew you were worried and was walking behind with you whilst Lily and Ethan were laughing and joking.

Grayson: "Hey are you alright?"

You start to stutter.

Y/n: "Y-yeah I'm f-fine"

You give a fake smile.

Grayson: "You don't look fine"

Y/n: "Honestly Gray I'm fine don't worry about me. Why are you so bothered anyway?"

Grayson: "Because i'd hate to see a pretty girl like you all upset and scared"

Butterflies flew around your stomach. You start to blush and smile at him. You reach the cliff edge.

Grayson whispers in your ear;

Grayson: "Don't worry, I'll be waiting at the bottom for you"

His voice was so seductive.

*Y/n's POV*

Grayson whispered in my ear with his seductive voice. What he said reassured me and made me feel more confident.

He then shouted;

Grayson: "Yo I'm going first!!"

He sprinted from behind and flipped of the edge into water. We all were laughing. I decided to go next. I just simply jumped in. Grayson was down there waiting for me. I dropped in and he swam over.

Grayson: "Wasn't that bad was it?"

Y/n: "Never said it was going to be anyway"

Grayson: "You didn't say it with your mouth, you said it with your eyes"

We both laughed. Grayson stared into my glistening eyes and I stared right into his. He leaned in for a kiss but was rudely interrupted by the splash of Ethan. He knew we were both pissed.

Y/n: "Where's Lily?"

Ethan: "Idk she went off to go FaceTime some boy"

I rolled my eyes.

Y/n: "Ugh typical"

Grayson: "Why are girls so annoying and boring at times"

Y/n: "Excuse me"

Grayson: "Yeah the female species is genuinely so confusing especially about the subject of men"

I felt quite offended. I knew he was either joking or aiming it to Lily but why would he say it infront of me?

Y/n: "Erm i think I'm gonna head back and look for Lily"

Ethan: "No y/n stay"

I started to head out of the water.

Y/n: "No it's fine honestly, I don't feel to good anyway"

*Grayson's POV*

Ethan: "Now look what you've done Grayson, you've fucked up your chances"

Wtf have I done. It was only a joke towards Lily. I guess she took it the wrong way. I watched her run out of the water like someone from 'BAYWATCH'. How could I mess everything up with that beauty ughhhhh.

*Y/n's POV*

I wasn't going to look for Lily. I knew she'd find her way back. I went straight to the apartment. It was only up the road so I walked there. I grabbed my stuff from the beach and left. Ugh why do I always take things to heart? I'm such an emotional wreck omg. After about 10 minutes of walking, I reach the apartment. I open the door and dump my stuff. I change out of my bikini and put back on my shorts and top. I grabbed a Pepsi from the fridge and a bag of Pringles from the cupboard. I turned on the tv and sat scrolling through my social media.
I get a call from 'Lily😘'.

*Call*

Y/n: "Hello"

Lily: "Hey girl where you at?"

Y/n: "I'm back at the apartment, I don't feel to good"

Lily: "You want me to come back?"

Y/n: "No Lily it's fine honestly. You stay with the twins and have fun. I'll see you later"

Lily: "Okay bye y/n"
