Adalina R. Vasquez//
2 weeks later.
I was making my way to the small gym with Toryn for our last practice before Christmas break and man I was grateful. I was beyond sick at this point. I had a doctors appointment after practice so they could tell me what the fuck was wrong with me. My skin was starting to look lighter like it was the winter time but a bitch looked dead.
I was feeling a little light headed so I popped a quick Advil and swallowed it with some water and hopefully that worked. I had been eating all day so I knew it wasn't from me being hungry or anything.
I quickly checked my phone and started texting back a few clients before we walked into the gym and seen the girls just sitting around talking.
"Alright y'all, come on start warming up!" Coach Cathy yelled out as a handful of girls started walking through the door. We all got into our spots and Sissy started calling out the exercises.
My head was knocking right now. I wanted to know what the fuck was wrong with me. If I would've just went to the doctor weeks ago I probably wouldn't be having this problem.
"Lina You okay?" Toryn whispered to me and I attempted to stand up straight but everything got blurry.
"Call my mom." I muffled out before I fully lost my balance and all I felt was myself hit the ground and my ears started ringing. I faintly saw everybody rushing over to me before I fully closed my eyes and blacked out.
4 hours later
I woke up and that bright ass hospital light was in my face and I saw the IV in my arm. I sat up in bed trying to remember what happened then I saw my mom sitting in the chair in a sweatsuit talking to Jaylen.
"Hey, take it easy baby. You remember what happened?" Jaylen asked while walking over to me and I was just looking around.
"My head-"
"Mild concussion, you hit your head pretty hard when you touched the ground."
"Aren't you surgeon? Did I have surgery?"
"No baby," she giggled then looked at me again. "I'm just checking on you. I heard you passed out at practice."
"Why?"
"Well part of the reason is you haven't had enough water, your body is exhausted, and all of that can lead to you passing out."
"Wow, the exhaustion can make people feel this bad?"
"Yeah it can, but I have to get back to work. I'm going to leave you to talk to your mom. And it's not just exhaustion you're sick too."
"Okay." Jaylen walked out of the room and I changed the setting on the bed so I could sit up a little more and actually be comfortable.
