"So what are we doing today?" Lyla asked, and before I even got the chance together somebody deep ass voice went yelling through the house.

"Meme!" We heard yelling downstairs and I frowned at the voice.

"Hold that thought, come on." We walked out the room and went downstairs and went to the kitchen to see my granddad. A bitch was about to turn into the flash and dip when he saw us but I just froze.

"Papa!" Lyla squealed while running up to him and he picked her up.

"Hey baby girl!" Sir said while spinning her around.

"Why you not at home papa?"

"Well, I come out here every year around this time to see my sister and all my nieces and nephews, and all your other family."

"Oh, but you always show up for Christmas."

"That I do, because I can't miss spending Christmas with the princess." He said while poking her nose. I was about to walk out the kitchen until I heard my name. "Alright, Lyla go play with the dog while I talk to your sister. Lina, walk with me."

"It's snow on the ground." I said while frowning.

"This woman lives in a 1.5 million dollar house, you know how many square feet this is?"

"No."

"Me neither, I was just asking. We just gone walk around the house." I walked over to him and I seen Meme giggling while he put his arm around me and we started walking. For the first few minutes it was quite until we got to a more secluded part of the house. She lived in The Legends out in Collierville  where all the rich people and famous people, mainly niggas that play for the Grizzlies, stay so her house was pretty fucking big.

"You know a track is a very big oval right?"

"Yes."

"And you know you always end up back in the same spot right?"

"Not technically, when you doing a relay like a four by one you end up one hundred meters away from where you started, and when you do a two hundred you don't go back around soo......"

"Shut up, when you do a 400 you start and end in the same spot, same for everything that's behind a four hundred."

"Okay so we talking distance, got it."

"Yeah, so when you run away from your problems you still have to get back to that same spot and face them after you get done taking your jog around the whole track."

"What if I wanna run a three hundred."

"Lina you gone try my patience, that's not distance."

"Sorry, but why are you comparing me running away from my problems to track? Do you see me? Nigga I don't run, I eat and dance."
