Prompt: "'Sup." "'Sup? 'Sup?! A building just exploded behind you and all you can say is "'Sup"?!"
Connor looked at the strange boy with shock. He had been walking to school when the building had just exploded. As he had stood in shock, a boy with messy brown hair and his green eyes were sparkling with mirth.
Connor recognize him as Hudson, a boy who is known around school for having a laid-back attitude and being friends with almost everyone. So Connor was surprised to hear him call out a greeting to him, the shyest person in school.
The way Hudson smiled at him as he walked away from the burning building made Connor mad so he yelled at him. Hudson seemed to find that funny.
"Is the shy, goody-goody actually yelling at someone? Ha, I'm honored to be the first to get lectured by you." He say with fake shock and that smile.
Connor blushes at the sudden attention, "Well, I.. um.. Look. The school is burning down, don't you care?"
"Not in the way you're thinking. I am happy because now we don't have to give those presentations in science!" Connor shuddered, those projects were hell.
"Well, I guess that is a positive but what if someone was in there." Connor manages without shuddering for once and places his hands on his hips.
Hudson shakes his head, "Everyone is fine. I know who did this and they set off the alarm first, waited, then blew it up. Now let's go to the arcade!" And with that Connor was dragged to the mall.

They sat down with milkshakes and fries. Hudson has gotten a chocolate one and Connor got strawberry. "Dude, it matches your hair, cool."Connor blushes, "My hair is not pink, it is red."
Hudson laughs, "Whatever dude. I still can't believe how good you are at all these old games. I thought all you did was study."
"No, I'm shy not smart. Not everyone without a social life is a nerd." Hudson nods in agreement while sipping Connor's shake, "Hey, if you wanted strawberry you should have gotten it. Beside don't you mind the germs?"
"Um, no but if you do then I wouldn't take it again. Sorry." He smiles and puts the milkshake back on the table grabbing his own.
Connor blushes again, "It-it doesn't bother me, well not really. I mean when you think about it the transfer of germs is gross but unless the other person is sick, and I not sick and you're not sick. Wait you're not sick are you?" He glances up suddenly horror written on his face causing Hudson to laugh.
"Dude, calm down. I am not sick." He pauses to take a sip of his drink, "and it's cute that you ramble when you're nervous."
Connor blushes causing Hudson to laugh again. "You blush a lot."
Connor's face turns redder, "W-well you laugh a lot."
"That's because you make me laugh, I like that about you." Hudson smiles and Connor smiles shyly back.
"Well I blush because of you, a-and I like your laugh." Hudson's smile got wider and Connor could have sworn his face had never been so red.
