Prompt: My friend dragged me to a party and then abandoned me but you came up to me and we started talking and somehow I started talking about how I didn't want to be hear while you start smirking when my friend comes back and introduces you to me as the host of the party and I blush really hard because I've been ranting about how boring it was for 10 minuets.

Lilly had dragged Connor to a party he didn't want to be at, which was unusual. Normally Lilly asked if Connor wanted to go and if he said no then she would hang out with him for a little and go by herself later.

That is not what happened today; today she had begged him to go. She had pleaded and cried when he still said no. Finally he gave in with no clue why this party was different.

Lilly left him by the wall to go find someone she wanted to introduce him to, which Connor figured was why she was so set on getting him here. That's where he was now, standing alone by the wall.

Suddenly a guy with curly brown hair walks up with a smile. "Hi are you not liking the party?"

Connor sighed, "That's not it, well mostly not it. My friend dragged me hear and then left me and I bored and this party is stupid and..." Connor starts ranting about just how much he doesn't want to be there, the highlights of which are a five minute rant on the negative affects of alcohol at a college part and a ten minute rant on the homework he is sure everyone still has to do.

After about an hour of this, Connor is out of breath and the other guy is smiling, "Well it sounds like you really hate parties so I won't take it as a personal offense."

Connor looks at him confused, but before he can question what the other meant Lilly walks up. "There you are. Hudson I have been looking all over for you. Connor this is my friend Hudson, he is the one throwing the party and I think you two will get along well. Hudson this is my BFF Connor he is a little shy but when he gets worked up about something, watch out! He has strong opinions but gets embarrassed easily."

Hudson laughs, "I can tell. We were just having a long talk about the negative side of parties. Oh and by the way, I would never allow alcohol at my party, so if you saw someone drinking let me know."

Connor's face gets red and Lilly is afraid he is going to pass out from lack of air, "Um, Lilly? C-can I talk to you outside far a second?"

Lilly looks between a smirking Hudson and a Connor that is redder then his hair. Finally she catches on and waves to Hudson as she drags Connor outside.

As soon as they were out of ear shot Connor starts crying, "Lilly I just spent and hour telling the host of the party how stupid it was. I am so embarrassed and he was so nice. Did you see his hair, it looks so soft and that small gap between his teeth, I don't know why he didn't get braces to fix it, but I find it cute. And..." Lilly rolls her eyes.

"Connor breath. He didn't look mad or even hurt that you thought that. In fact, It looked like he found it either interesting or at least entertaining. I would even go as far to say that he would want to talk to you more. By the looks of it, he is coming to talk to you now."

Lilly was right, Hudson was walking over to see him. Connor started to panic but Hudson's relaxed smile calmed him down, "Hey, guys. Connor, and Lilly if you want, if the party is to much I have a gaming system or some books and things up stairs." He gestures to the house behind him.

Connor opens his mouth but nothing comes out so Lilly speaks up, "He would love to but aren't most games two player. I know! Why don't you play them together? Sound good? Great!" She shoves then inside and up the stairs.

As she closed the game room door, the last thing she sees is Connor's blushing face and hears Hudson's laugh.
