Psychotic Friendship

Prompt: It turns out that Earth is actually an Insane asylum for the universe

Sometimes it was clear why they were put here. For example, Jaxson was a boy around the age of five when he was sent to Earth. He had black hair that he dip-dyed red and brown eyes that had an insane gleam in them. He also loved to set things on fire.

That was the reason he was sent to the Earth Asylum for the Insane. He was labeled a public threat at the age of five for setting his house on fire, setting a school on fire and for blowing up a government building. So it was obvious why he was sent there.

For others it wasn't as obvious, one had to be their friend for years to learn, or have good observation skills. Hudson was one of those.

Many claimed it was his laid-back, almost uncaring attitude that got him sent to the Asylum, and that was kind of true. He came from a place where disease or war could kill anyone at anytime, so he grew up learning not to show you cared. He lost his parents to a plague and his friends to bombing when he was younger, so when explorers found the plant him and many others were labeled "not savable" half for being murderers, the other half for not batting an eye when it happened in front of them.

Soon Hudson found Jaxson and they became good friend because all Hudson would do is reprimand Jaxson while others ran away.

Around the same time Lilly and Connor first met, and became quick friends due to Lilly feeling like Connor needed to be taken under her wing and Connor feeling like Lilly would protect him from anything.

Lilly has been the leader of a notorious gang that killed many and so she was sent to Earth after her gang was busted. Connor had social issues, a stutter that most thought obnoxious and a blush that few found normal. Instead of try to help him, they sent him to a place full of killers and people who hear voices in their heads.

At least that was what he thought, but, aside from a few brawls to the death and more fires and robberies then from his home planet, it seemed almost normal.

The first time Connor set foot on the planet, he was amazed to see schools and shops and other things he would have seen at home. His first thought was how the air felt more alive but the world seemed similar.

Lilly's first thought was that she had never seen a sky so blue, seeing as her planet's sky had been almost grey.

Hudson's first thought was how he had a chance to live a normal life, and hopefully no longer fear death and having friends die.

Jaxson thought about what to set on fire first.
