Skaye's POV

"No, Sayuri, you were never like that. You couldn't be a demon... Could you?" She grins and teleports behind me. "It was all your fault, dear sister. Now I will make you pay." She vanishes and I am suddenly chained down. Uh oh, she took control.

I need to get back. I'm trapped in my own mind. You really should never trust a blood demon. Hopefully the team know it's not me.

I know I'm dangerous, but I couldn't even begin to guess at being this dangerous. I pull at the chains. They won't budge, they just get tighter.

I'll regain control. I know I will. Hopefully before Sayuri does anything stupid.

Keith's POV

I help Skaye sit up as she wakes. She looks different, she has black eyes with green pupils. And she seems to have some kind of aura. I wonder what's going on.

I look at Allura. "Keith, a word please" she says, pulling me away. "That's not Skaye. That's someone else. You can't trust them. I'll try to find out who she is and how she got control of Skaye", she looks at me and puts her hand on my shoulder, "we will get her back. I promise."

I nod and leave the room. What could be happening? I don't understand. Who really is that? Lost in my thoughts, I bump into Lance. "Sorry man" he says, I look at him.
"Don't trust Skaye until she's back to normal. Tell the others, but don't let on that you know she's not the same. Allura's dealing with it." I say, walking off.

I look back and see his look of disbelief. He shrugs and heads in the direction of the kitchen. Probably to tell Hunk.

I wonder how Allura's doing. I set off to the main control room to try to find Shiro.

Allura's POV

I help the fake Skaye up. "Are you ok? You kind of fell after yelling at me" I say. She nods and looks in the direction of where Keith was.

"Do you think he likes me?" She asks almost straight away. I shrug. "I don't get involved with that here"

She sighs and looks down, aura dimming for a second. She looks back up, eyes shining with defiance and planning. Uh oh, I need to warn the team.

What about the mission later? She can't be trusted! As I wonder over this, she walks out of the room, looking unsure of where to go. She looks down the corridor towards the rooms and walks away.

I quietly walk through the side door, to the pods. Coran should be there. I need to tell him about her condition.

Lance's POV

I try to shake off what Keith said earlier. It's worrying news. I go into the kitchen. "Hey Hunk, you in here buddy?" I call to the back of the room, where I hear water running. "Yeah, what's up?" He shouts back.

"I need to tell you something... Hey! Pidge! That's not fair!" I take the hose off the green paladin as she tries to spray me again. "Look, Keith said to me that Skaye isn't herself. We can't trust her until she's back to normal" I tell them, switching the hose off. Pidge's face contorts into multiple emotions, ending with curiosity.

"Why, what's happened?" She asks, I shrug. "I only know that Allura's dealing with the situation apparently."
"Ok, we can't trust our own teammate. That's a bit worrying" Hunk says quietly, putting a plate away.

I nod. "It is, but we can't let on that we know. Just watch your back." With that news delivered, I turn my heel and walk away, hands in pockets.

I hear soft footsteps down the hall, towards the pod hangars. I follow them, at a faster pace to find out who it is.

Allura's POV

I hear someone walking quickly behind me. "Allura, is it sorted?" I hear the voice of Lance ask. I shake my head. "No, she left" I sigh.

Lance sighs too. "We need to find out what caused this."
I think I already do. It's a theory, but it doesn't seem to be true.

"I think whoever took over is a blood demon. They are the part of a vampire that craves blood. And when they don't get enough, they take over the body of their host." I explain to Lance. He gasps. "Then we're in danger."

I nod. Well, not me and Coran. "She needs human blood. So me and Coran are safe. But you're not." Lance looks at me, horrified.

I speed up and go to meet Coran in the pod hangar.

Sayuri's POV

I walk down the corridor, to what I think are the rooms. I can hear Skaye in the back of my mind, trying to speak to me. I shut her out and laugh.

I need to find that one that Skaye is close to. I believe his name is Keith. I stop when I reach a chain of doors. They have a pale colour laced through the blue, I go to the purple one, assuming that's Skaye's.

I sit on the bed. It's been so long since I was able to have a body. I laugh and swing my legs. I try to look through the information that Skaye has. All she is letting me know is the paladins and their names.

I hear a knock on the door. "Come in" I say, lying down. The red paladin enters. "Hey" he says and sits next to me. "What's up?" I ask, looking up at him. He strokes my hair. "It's just... Are you ok? You fell earlier and I wanted to check on you"

"I'm fine. Why does everyone ask that so much?" I say, getting irritated. At least I found my target. He stops, but I grab his hand. "Notice anything different? I know you do" I hiss at him, revealing my fangs.

"I know. Who actually are you? Where is Skaye?" He growls at me. I laugh. "I'm a demon, idiot. And Skaye's safe. For now." A look of upset flashes across his face.

"I asked who are you?! Not what are you!" He yells, yanking his hand out of my grasp. I feel something change in my mind. It's a feeling of... Sadness. Off Skaye. "Ask Skaye. I'll give her back for a while." With that, I let myself slip unconscious.

Skaye's POV

Sayuri appears in front of me. "What do you want?!" I scream as the chains release. "Calm down! You can go back for a while. Just explain the situation." She says to me, sitting down.

I don't trust her one bit, but I'll take the chance. It might be the only one I get.
