The pain is too much to endure
My heart can't take the strain no more
To me this isn't a game,
It's my life
I'm shattered in a million pieces
I'm desperately try to hold on
Yes, somehow trying to
Find out what went wrong
I got plenty of messages
But none of them are from you
My heart breaks
Like a pile of broken glass on the ground
Crushed by the weightlessness
Of the words you never texted
I want to walk out the door
But you got the key to my heart
Now, I'm seated
On a pile of rose thorns
Changing the words,
Pronouns and phrases all day long
Trying to fix my heartbreak
Before the day is done
