Falcon, the twins, and Hermione raced to the third-floor corridor. "I bet whatever is in there, Quirrell is going to try to steal it soon." Coming to the door, Hermione bent down a bit and whipped out her wand. "Alohamora." As the door swung open, the three brothers looked on with shock. "They locked the door to a place as important as this with a spell that a first year can undo? Seriously?" He scowled suspiciously but continued on. He gestured for the others to follow him in but stopped when he heard a low growling. As Falcon slowly turned around, he whipped out his wand and cast a Lumos. Then, he backed away when he saw he was face to face with a giant Hell Hound.

As the others backed away in fear, Falcons n slowly walked forward. "Awww! He's so adorable!" He began petting the middle head and smiled as it stopped growling and leaned into his hand. It moved, and Falcon could see a trap door and he gestured to the others with his free hand. As they ran towards it, Falcon backed away and laughed as the dog looked at him sadly. "I'll be back I promise." He looked at the dog one last time before jumping down the trapdoor. He hovered in the air and looked down. Fred, George, and Hermione were all staring back up at him with terrified expressions. Hermione quickly relaxed and was released by the devils snare. George saw and did the same, but Fred fought and the snare wrapped a tendril around his throat. Falcon gasped. "Incendio!" The snare quickly released Fred and Falcon flew through the hole that had been made. He rushed over to Fred and pulled him into a hug along with George and Hermione. "I'm so glad you guys are alright.

The four broke apart awkwardly and shuffled their feet awkwardly. "So..." Falcon began. "... I think we should continue on yes?" They quickly hurried on, all bushing a bit with embarrassment. A few feet ahead, He could make out the glint of metal. They all raced forward but paused when they heard flapping. Geroge scratched his head. "Metal... birds?" Falcon shrugged and they entered a large room. On the other side was a heavy wooden door. He walked across the room cautiously, sighing with relief when nothing happened. Falcon tried to open the door, but it was locked. Remembering Hermione's spell, he drew his wand. "Alohamora." Nothing happened, so he tried again. Still nothing. Suddenly, the twins called. "Falcon!" "The birds..." "...are keys!" He looked up and sure enough, they were winged keys. "I can't reach them." There was a moment of awkward silence before Hermione yelled. "Falcon you blockhead! You have wings!" He blushed. "Right... knew that..." Falcon spread his wings and took off, relishing the feeling of being in the air again. "All of the keys look the same!" Falcon then remembered a spell he had read. "Accio key!" The keys all turned and began racing towards him. "CRAP!" In the hail of keys, He spotted a large silver key, a stark contrast to the bronze keys around it. He grabbed it and landed, folding his wings back behind him. The others raced over and the twins hit him over the head. "You could have been..." "...more specific..." "...you..." "...moron!" Hermione just shook her head. "Idiot." He sheepishly made his way over to the door and unlocked it. As soon as they entered the next room, Everyone groaned. It was a giant chess set. They were on the black side, and could see the white peices on the other side. Behind them was a door. Fred and George stepped forward. "Do either of you..." "...know how to play?" Falcon and Hermione both shook their heads. The twins unfurled their wings, and Falcon followed suit. Fred grabbed Hermione around the waist and she blushed. "Wha-" In sync the three brothers unfurled their wings and took off. Hermione screamed and held onto Fred's shoulders, burying her head in his chest, witch caused a blush to spread over his face. They landed on the other side and folded their wings. George cleared his throat, causing the pair to break apart.

Hermione opened the door with a quick alohamora and a putrid odor filled their noses. Looking up, their eyes widened with horror. A huge troll towered over them. They tried to dive out of the way as it swung it's club, but Fred was to slow and it connected to his head with a sickening crack. Hermione screamed as he fell to the ground, unconscious. George roared with anger and his skin turned blood red. His wings elongated slightly and the feather tips of his wings became razor sharp metal. His incisors grew into fangs, and short ears grew from his head. The orange streaks that normally flowed through his black hair turned a deep blood red and he growled. Large tails formed and whipped around wildly. The troll swung again but he had already moved. He appeared behind the troll and swiped with his wing making a deep gouge in it's thick hide. With an inhuman strength, George grabbed the club away from the troll, hitting him on the head. The troll slumped to the ground and he raised the club again. Falcon barreled into his stomach, bringing them both crashing to floor. He grabbed his brothers arms and forced them down by his side. "Snap out of it he's fine!" George struggled for a few more seconds before laying still. His ears retracted, and his wings went back to normal. His skin faded to it's usual color and the tails retracted. The only things that remained were the fangs. He looked up in confusion. "What the..." Falcon hugged him. "You went a little bonkers." Falcon stood and helped George to his feet. They both looked back to Hermione, who had Fred's head in her lap and was trying every healing spell she knew on him. He and George opened the next door after telling Hermione to go back and get help. As they crossed the threshold, a purple fire sprang to life behind them, and a black fire in front of them. A table with seven potions stood ahead of them. George quickly strode over and read the scroll of paper beside them. "It says that three are poisons, two are nettle wine, one will let us move ahead, and the other lets us move back. The largest and smallest are not poisons, the second left and second on the right are the same - must be the wine - there is a poison on the left side of one of the wines, the ones on either end are different and won't let us move ahead.

Falcon moved along the table scanning each carefully. He grabbed the first bottle on the left and handed it to George. "Poison." He took the next one. "Wine." he continued on down the line until he got to "Move ahead." He swirled some around. "There is enough for both of us I think, if we take a small sip." He grabbed another. "Or one of us could go back." George clasped his hand around the hand holding the smallest bottle. "We do this together brother." He grinned and uncorked it. He drank about half and gave it to George, who drank the rest. They leapt through the fire and stumbled a bit on the other side before getting their balance. They were in a large and brightly lit room. Steps led down to a small rectangular center, and in it, a mirror. They cautiously waked towards it. "The mirror of Erised." Falcon studied the last word for a moment. "Erised? No... Desire! The mirror of Desire!" George read the etchings on the frame. "I show not your face but your hearts desire. Huh. What a weird mirror." Falcon looked into it. "Is this where the stone is?" A sudden image took shape, It was his reflection. The reflection slowly nodded and pulled a bright red stone from behind its back. Harry felt a sudden weight in his hand and looked down. There was the exact same stone. He turned to George and grinned. "That was easy. Now all we need to do is find a way to destroy it so Quirrell-" A soft voice suddenly spoke. "Well well. It seems all my work has been done for me."
