Cassidy's POV

That morning, I was awoken by a phone call. It was from my Interior Designing Agency (IDA). I got up and put on some light skinny jeans and my T-Shirt with my badge on it and headed off for work.

Once I arrived I went to Jeremy, my boss, and asked for the address of the house I needed to work on. The first house was a town away, and the next was a dorm from my college, and it was from the boys dorms. Just great, hopefully they are nice. I thanked my boss and drove to my first desitnation.

I arrived at this beautiful mansion and was greeted by a polite couple. I helped them for two hours, and once they were satisfied with their design, I left.

After a thirty minute drive, I arrived back to my college. Slowly, I walked to the dorm 219. I knocked on the door and I wish I didn't beacause...

I was greeted by my blue-eyed bully and 'ex' best friend,

Hayes Grier.

I looked towards the ground and was hoping that he didn't recognize me.

-Flashback-

I walked into the busy hallways of Davidson Day. I kept my head down and was hoping that Hayes and his 'crew' didn't find me.

Before I could make it to my homeroom, a strong hand gripped my arm. I was dragged to the corner where no one would see me, and I turned around only to see Hayes.

His face was bright red and he looked upset. I knew Hayes didn't care to check up on me, but I still cared about his happiness.

"What's wrong Hayes?" I asked.

He spat at me " Why would you care?"

"Even though you don't care about me and hate me, doesn't mean that I don't care about you..." I spoke softly.

"THEN WHY DID YOU GET IN THE WAY OF ME AND JORDAN" Hayes screamed at me and then I felt a burning sensation across my face.

"I didn't do anything... I didn't even know that you guys broke up." I whispered.

"STAY AWAY FROM ME AND GET OUT OF MY LIFE! IF I EVER SEE YOU AT MY HOUSE AGAIN, YOU WON'T SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY, YOU GOT ME?" Hayes kicked my side forcefully then stormed off to class.

I scooted towards the hallway and said, "Now you know why I didn't accept your apology that night, did any of my words get to your head?!"

After that everything was blurry, then black.

-End of Flashback-

I looked up and was staring into the once soft, but cold-hearted, emotionless blue eyes. I was scared out of my mind, and I think he picked up on that.

Hayes's POV (Finally!)

I looked down at the scared and innocent girl that was once my best friend, but now a victim of bullying, my bullying.

She was absolutely stunning and had a gorgeous face. Her hair was silky, her lips were soft, her eyes were bright, and she wore little makeup. She didn't even need any makeup. Overall she was beautiful. I remember the time that she told me off at her door steps. She was so strong, but I broke her down.

Why do I ruin everything? I ruined my friendship with Cass, I ruined her, her confidence, and her reputation.

"Cassidy?"

She looked up at me and I could see a tear roll down her face. I took my thumb and wiped it away.

She looked petrified.

Of me.
