Chapter 33

Darnell's POV

Eric runs through the plan one more time before we start, as he finishes I think to myself trying to find if there's any way to improve it "I think if everything goes according to plan, we'll be fine guys. I'll be look out correct?"

Nick answers me "Yeah, any guards you find on the roof or anything try your best to not get spotted, they'll notify everyone inside and make this more of a hassle."

Eric nods his head "They'll most likely put Weiss and her family in a safe room of some kind if that happens, but you can knock them out Darnell. Just they'll get suspicious when a few guys aren't answering. One more thing, you can't show your face man. Stay in your armor at all times, you can't even tell Weiss till it's absolutly safe too otherwise the Atlas military will show and try to subdue you."

I sigh a bit "Yeah... for the crimes I committed due to being under, I'm happy I can't remember them right now." Saying that makes me remember those dreams of what I can guess was Pyrrha.... "When..... when can I see Pyrrha again? I.... want to see her.... and my child Aelia..."

They look at me with pity but put on smiles as they tell me when, Nick goes "In a few days Darnell, we'll be leaving for Haven tonight brother. It'll take some time but you'll see her again, not just her but our little family we got going as well."

Eric laughs "I don't think it's little Nick when it comes to power though, this family will be on the frontlines when we launch the assault on Salem, with or without anyone's help we will win."

I hope I can save her.... she saved me from her demon side the other day... she has suffered so much... and did her best to get me my powers back.. Eric breaks me from my thoughts "Hey... you good Darnell?"

I reassure him "Yeah, just want my memories is all. That way I can have my powers back, I want my memories more than anything though.... so you all can have the Darnell you all know back."

They laugh at me and I get confused, Nick fills me in "You still haven't changed huh? Memories or no memories you're still the same Darnell."

I ask him "In what way?"

Eric cuts him off "Always worrying for others instead of worrying about yourself man."

I think a bit and realize he's right, I did the same for those people at the village "Huh, yeah I suppose you're right" I look outside the building we're currently hiding in and see it's getting dark. "Ok boys, let's get our girl back! I'll meet you at the Schnee residence."

They both nod their heads and head out while I gather my blade and wrap it in a cloth they gave me from a supply store for any weapon needs, I load up my pistols and head out the back and head towards the roof and wait a little longer for it to get darker.

It didn't take long for the sun to set, I'm currently sneaking into the residence now. Had a few close calls with some guards but I managed to not get caught yet. "Ok I got past the gates..... now my favorite part" I look up as I say this and see how much of the building I have to climb to see the party and what not. "Climbing basically a castle and trying not getting detected...." I sigh through my mask "Let's get this over with.." I jump up the side of the building doing my best to not slip and fall of the side, it wouldn't hurt that much if I fall but it he would be loud and could blow our cover. "This isn't so bad, not that many guards up here either" as I say this I hear someone from the ledge I'm about to grab onto.

"Who's there? Show yourself!" Shit I was too loud! Some girl form the window heard me! I hear footsteps get closer to the window "I'm a Schnee heiress and I command you to show yourself!"

It's Weiss! I think before I do anything and decide to hop through the window and show myself, I put my hand on her mouth before she shouts anything else "Shhh! I'm here to help you Weiss, I came here with Nick and Eric you know them from Beacon."
