Chapter 39

Aelia's POV

We made it to the the academy but it's like there's no one here though, I look over at grandpa as well walk and he's constantly looking around and I get curious "Weird how no one is here huh?"

He nods his head "I don't like this feeling.... brings me back to when I was a navy seal. Walking into unknown territory and expecting anything to happen always kept me alive, stay alert Aelia."

We walk through the front doors with everyone and we see the headmaster Lionheart waiting at the top of some stairs. We all look around and see no one else in here besides us, Lionheart also seems pretty nervous and even has his weapon I believe.

He speaks in a sketchy like manner "Oh.... You came faster than I expected.... also, why did you bring.... um your weapons."

What the hell is he on? Qrow answers him "Lionheart we're hunters, why wouldn't we have our weapons?"

Lionheart tugs on his shirt a little "Well... um I don't know really sorry, I guess that was a dumb question."

Grandpa gets irritated by his behavior "What's going on Lionheart? And where are the people who are here to help us find the maiden?"

I hear a familiar voice "I'm all that you need really!"

What the? It's Dad! And he has on different clothing, instead on his huntsman gear he has dark jeans with matching boots and a white shirt with a gray sleeveless jacket. We all get surprised, Cinder goes first "You're supposed to be resting back at the inn, what are you doing here?"

He laughs a bit, almost evil like.... somethings off about him "Couldn't sleep so I decided to come here."

I get a good look at him "Where did all your scars go?"

He gets a shocked expression but puts on a smile "No clue, but I still have the ones on my chest though."

Mom gets serious "Where's your cross? You never leave it behind."

Grandpa gets pissed "You're not my son! You don't even have his tattoo!" He pulls his LMG out "So you're the bastard ruining my son's name!"

Everyone gets a good look at him and sees he doesn't have his tattoo, he just starts to laugh and jumps down to our level from the second floor "Damn no fooling you guys huh? Should've took the chance to kill one of you insects when I had the chance to, thought this be a more enteraning way to kill one of you and see all your shocked faces!" As he finishes, his skin changes to a deathly pale and his eyes change as well..... he looks just how dad looked when he attacked us at Beacon! "Sorry Lionheart, but I guess we can skip the introductions and just kill em and open the vault. Raven! Open up a portal and let my friends in!"

A raven flies down and once it goes behind him it turns into a woman who looks like a older version of Yang. Yang gets pissed "Mom! You really did give them info..... You would help an attack against your own family?!"

She looks at her menacingly "I did what I had to, I told you Yang..... I will do anything to survive." She slashes the air with her sword and a portal appears.... and that creep that attacked Ruby comes out with a few of those dark figures.

We hear the doors behind us close and shut and we all look and see a hulking man like Grandpa, he speaks in a low voice "The white fang are prepping demolitions.... no one's getting in.... and no ones getting out..."

The imposter laughs "Nice job Hazel, now I see the bitch didn't come with you? Maybe he'll get his powers back once he wakes up and sees all of your corpses in this hall!"
