1 - One Year as BLACKPINK

JENNIE'S POV

"Unnie?" I heard Chaeyoung shout from the other side of our dorm.

"Yeaahh, I'm almost ready!" I reply.

"Give me a second!" I added as I put on a headband and walked out of my room towards Chaeyoung's.

Today was our one year anniversary as BLACKPINK. We were all going to go to YG headquarters for a shoot. We were told we were just going to answer some questions for a video. Jisoo and Lisa left earlier, because they were going to pick up Lisa's new camera on the way first.

"Manager oppa just texted me - he's downstairs." Chaeyoung explained as she saw me in her doorway.

"Okay, let's go quickly before he gets annoyed for waiting."

When we arrived at YG, our manager told us to go to the terrasse upstairs and wait there for him and the film crew to arrive. Chaeyoung and I made our way up where we found Lisa and Jisoo waiting for us on the other side of the massive terrasse on some sofas.

"Yooooooo!" Lisa screamed as soon as she saw us. "You guys took foreveeeeeever!"

Jisoo started laughing at the way Lisa extended the "e" for so long. "You're exaggerating they didn't take foreveeeeeever." She insisted. "You're just super hyper right now."

"Did you eat loads of sugar today?" I questioned as I stood right above Lisa who was sitting on one side of the sofa.

"Maybe, maaaaaaybe I did." She said grabbing my legs and hugging them. "Is that a bad thing?" She asked gently while looking up at me.

I couldn't help but smile at the way she was speaking and looking at me right now. "She is so cute" I thought to myself. I put one finger on her nose and before I could come up with a reply, we heard our manager and what sounded like a few men carrying heavy film equipment begin to come onto the other side of the terrasse.

"What do you think they're going to ask us?" Chaeyoung whispered as to not be heard by the men who were now setting up the cameras and microphones.

"I don't know but I hope we get some food after this.. I'm starving!" Jisoo answered.

"Me too actually" Chaeyoung admitted.

"Sameeee" Lisa and I replied in unison.

"Okay girls, we're ready for you!" Our manager said while motioning for us to come over.

Jisoo and Chaeyoung immediately began to walk over to the cameras. Lisa and I followed them with our eyes while staying in the same position for a few more seconds. She was still hugging my legs tightly and I had now moved both my arms to hug her as well. For a while now Lisa has been very touchy with me - at first I didn't reciprocate but now I'm used to it and I think I also kind of like it...

"It's not a bad thing, it's actually super cute when you act like this." I admitted softly answering her previous question before releasing my arms and walking to where our other members were.

LISA'S POV

"..it's actually super cute when you act like this." I could feel myself blushing a little.

"Did she just say I was super cute?" I whispered to myself walking over to the others.

During the filming we were asked many questions, one of them was what we wanted to say to YG. At first we all hesitated a little, because all we wanted was for him to let us have a comeback soon. We knew we couldn't say that though, so we said things like "a trip to Hawaii", "new furniture" and "summer vacation". Come to think of it though I would love a summer vacation. Jennie visited Thailand with her parents earlier this year when I was home so we saw each other quite often there. But we mostly met only for meals or to go shopping, we didn't have much time to see anything together really. If we'd get a summer vacation I'd want to take her back and show her where I'm from.

As we were going to answer the next question, YG himself came out with a birthday cake to celebrate our one year anniversary since we debuted. After we sang and blew out the candles he told us to come inside because he has to speak with us.

I couldn't help but feel excited. Is he going to tell us that we can finally start the process for our album? That new songs are being written for us and we can look forward to having a comeback?

"What do you think he's going to say?" Jennie asked me excitedly as we walked together to go inside.

"I- I'm not sure."
