Chapter 25

BRITNEY,S POV

"Hey guys..."

"Yeah?" Harry, zayn, Lou said.

"Why did Niall run out?"

"Well we're not supposed to tell you but..." Lou started

"Lou don't" zayn said

"Well he kinda already made it odvy that he like her..." Then Lou slapped a hand over his mouth realizing what he just said.

"WAIT Niall likes me?" The three of them nod their heads slowly agreeing. I just shake my head

"Why does truth or dare always have to turn out bad and Lou?"

"Yeah"

"Why did you give me that dare if you knew he liked me?"

"I don't know I guess I just didn't realize it" he said shrugging his shoulders. Liam just came back pushing through the door.

"Why was Niall crying?"

"He was crying ugggg!" I groan

"Guys what happened?" Liam said worried

"Well Lou over here gave Luke a dare to kiss Britney and yeah you saw the rest" wes said

"Does she know?" Liam said

"HELLO?! I'm right here" i said waving my arms in the air.

"And yes I do know Niall likes me"

"Ok..." Liam said

" what did the doctor say I need to leave so I can go talk to Niall."

"He said you could leave after we sign the paper work"

"Well hurry up I have to go!"

We finished signing all the paper work and since Niall took the boys car home we has to squeeze into my car lemme tell ya that was not fun. Then we went to the boys flat, good thing the car was in the front so that means Niall is there.

"Will you guys stay out here for a little so I can talk to him?"

"Yeah sure" Lou said with guilt evident in his voice. I went up to the flat door and it was unlocked I had only been here once before and I was in the living room so I had to figure out where Niall's room was which wasn't very hard

Considering it was the only door closed It was the second door on the left I go up to the door and quietly twist to door knob, it was locked so I had to do one thing and that was knock so I did. I heard some sniffling and then he said

"Go away guys I don't wanna talk"

"Even if that person wasn't a guy?" I said softly

"Britney?"

"Yeah it's me can we talk?" I didn't hear him say anything just the click of the door telling me he unlocked it I open the door slowly and he was sitting on his bed with his head down in the palms of his hands. I walk over to him and sit on the bed and put my hand on his back.

"Do you like me?" He asked

"Niall I love you just not that way you're like a brother to me"

"Do you like Luke?"

"Honestly I don't know...I mean I just broke up with Justin and Luke is my best friend and I don't want us to not be friends anymore if we were to breakup"

"So are we good dude" I said to try to make him laugh...it worked

"Best friends?" He said

"Best friends."

But little did I know that someone was listening in.

NIALL'S POV

I hear a nock on the door. I didn't want to open it up because it was probably one of the guys and I did not want to talk about this with them. I yelled

"Go away guys!" Then it spoke back

"Even if that person wasn't a guy?" And right then I knew who it was.

"Britney?" Then she said

"Yeah it's me can we talk?" I didn't really wanna talk but I let her in anyways she walks and I'm sitting on my bed with my head in my hands. I can feel her moving around the room and she sits next to me and puts her hand on my back. I blurt out of nowhere I didn't really mean to but I said

"Do you like me?"

"Niall I love you but not in that way you're like a brother to me"

"Do you like Luke?" It slipped out again

"Honestly I don't know...I mean I just broke up with Justin and Luke is my best friend and I don't want us not to be friends anymore if we were to breakup"

"So are we cool dude?" She says

I laugh a little she's just not one to say dude.

"Best friends?" I say

"Best friends." She says

But after all that I understood what she meant and I wasn't sad or mad I was happy because I have a wonderful best friend
