Waiting and daydreaming

Later after school had gotten out for the day, Audrey had been waiting for Stefan. She had been sitting on the couch in the living room by the front door. She had been trying to hold back tears. When she first got home, she instantly started thinking about everything that had been going on. Her father had finally decided he wanted a divorce, and her mother was probably just as crushed as she had been on this particular day. 

Once she had moved out of her room, she tried to think of happy thoughts.. She began daydreaming about all the great times she had with Stefan.. 

~DAYDREAM/ TAKE BACK~ 

Audrey had began laughing as Stefan splashed her with water. She put her arms up in defense and turned away. "I'll get you back, Stefan!" She giggled as she continued to hold her arms up. 

Stefan had wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a hug with a low chuckle. "Fine, I'll stop! There isn't a need to get me back now, alright?" He held Audrey in the hug, not letting go until she hugged him back.

Audrey hugged back then playfully shoved him back a little, still giggling. Stefan looked at her smiling. "You know you're adorable, right Audrey?" He searches her face.

"I am not! And to be perfectly honest, in my eyes I'm ugly and annoying." Audrey frowned looking back at him, smiling as soon as her eyes met his.

"Oh be quiet! You're very beautiful. And not even the slightest bit annoying." Stefan always knew just what to say. Mainly because Audrey's cheeks at that moment had turned a light rose red. But even the slightest blush was very noticeable on her pale, fair skin. Stefan took pride in every moment he made her laugh, smile, or blush. 

Audrey tried covering her cheeks with his hoodie, she had taken one from him the day before and had been wearing it. They were both standing in Audrey's kitchen, fucking around with a plan to originally cook. "Shut up, Stefan!" She giggles. "You're such a flirt! Ugh!" She blushed an even darker shade, pulling the front of the hoodie just under her eyes.

Stefan had pulled it off her face, kissing her cheek. "Ha! I've gotten you to blush like 5 times just since this morning!" He laughed looking over her pale face, and light blue eyes. She had long, and very beautiful brown hair as well. 

Audrey always had a very put together look, wearing her hair wavy, her makeup minimal, and usually a black choker set with several other silver necklaces, each with a different meaning to her emotionally. She always looked ready for anything, and could pull off many different looks. In her opinion, Laila was so much more beautiful than her. Laila usually had a very sloppy look, long blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and usually a very upbeat person, never caring how she looked as much as Audrey did. 

Audrey loved Laila as a sister, they got along all the time though. Not like normal sisters. Not to mention when they were both little, they made a vow to never. Ever. Let a person between them. They had met Stefan when they were little on a trip to the local park. Audrey had developed a crush on him within a few months of knowing him. 

"Oh be quiet! I am not blushing!" Audrey lied as she felt her face very flushed. She could feel the warmth on her cheeks. Stefan often enjoyed teasing her about the smallest things. "Don't be a dick.. Can we just cook something already?" She giggled looking up at Stefan. He was so much taller than her, and she hated it. "Also, while you're at it, shrink a few inches. Or at least a foot." She tapped the top of his head as he was looking down at her. 

"Hmm.. No, I'd rather tease you for being so short. And by the way, you're really short.. It's cute though." He was generally a sweet guy..

~WAITING~ 

Audrey's happy thoughts had been cut short by the sound of knocking. She felt her face was wet. She hadn't realized the tears had began to fall. She calls out "Come in," while trying to dry her face.
