Catch my kisses
between your teeth,
Chew me up and
swallow me whole,
Cast my sorrows
down the streams,
Clip my heart with
scissors you stole,
Lock my smile up
inside your head,
Let the wind
cry our names,
Leave me out here
left for dead,
And look around at
what remains.
My pleas and cries
could cripple doves,
Watch as they scatter our
