-Everyday I self destruct,
I watch my colours run amok,
Blue drains from my fingertips,
Violet pouring from my lips.--Everyday I self destruct,
My blotchy edges peeling up,
I wash myself of yellowed-green,
And scrub away my crimson seams.--Everyday I self destruct,
But today I found a bit of luck,
A reason not to wash away,
A reason to repaint my brain.--Today I did not self destruct,
You took my hand and brushed me up,
New colour floods my ashen skin,
With steady arms you pull me in.--Now everyday I don't restart,
I close my eyes but keep my heart,
And as I open up to you,
I know you see my colours too.--He loves me simple,
Loves me true,
Whether I'm red
Or baby blue,-
